Waking up, on November 1st 2019, Jean Claude Juncker will no longer be president of the EU Commission. He has already let us know that he will not run again. He could have avoided it because he would never be re-elected. It is a given that in May of’ next year, with the EU elections, popular and socialist collapse on which Juncker is perched. When the’ entire scenario will be changed, Jean Claude will have 65 years, he will be disoriented and will give up everything.
The twilight of this Luxembourger who has dedicated his life to’ Ue. Today, he is forced to hear the dull sounds of crumbling on every front. Painful from sciatica, crippled by the after-effects of a road accident in 1989 in which he remained in a coma for weeks, Juncker resorts to’ alcohol to soothe the disappointment. Some days he shuts himself away alone, in others he has outbreaks d’ ira.
