Salvini denies the Conciliar Church: "Meno sbarchi, fewer deaths"

The clash between the president of the CEI, Monsignor Bassetti and the deputy prime minister

Salvini smentisce pure la Chiesa: "Meno sbarchi meno morti"

“Migrants must be helped and saved, not sent back or blocked in unsafe third countries”. The words of Monsignor Gualtiero Bassetti, president of the CEI, they are decisive and sharp: a criticism, not at all veiled, to the Government's migration policies. Bassetti wonders who, in the end, it will take responsibility for those who lose their lives in the Mediterranean and for the lack of integration. Right, landings have decreased, but deaths at sea are increasing, “exponentially

L'antifascismo dei cretini

FIFTH COLUMN
Of Marcello Veneziani
We have always had patience with idiots who are not evil and with evil but intelligent ones. However, we can't have it with bad idiots, maybe originally just idiots who then turned bad or just bad people then turned stupid. But they grew out of all proportion and got worse. I'm talking about the new anti-fascism, autumn-winter collection, that feeds on fascistometers to measure the degree of fascism that is in each of us and instructions for (non) become fascists, of fake Anpi that wave anti-fascism also the 4 November, no longer made up of partisans but of militants of perennial hatred; and then of mobilizations, demonstrations and mischief, conveyed by newspapers, newscasts, talk shows and many institutional stickers. Like that Cool guy who alternates declarations of anti-fascism with surreal declarations of love regarding the rapes and massacres of drug-migrants. For him, violence is fought with love, as the most unlucky flower children said half a century ago. He's getting there now, fifty years later and about something as terrible as the fatal rape of a little girl.
We tolerated the old anti-fascism fogey, trombone, a bit of manner. We were even able to tolerate a resulting anti-fascism, violent, intolerant, extremist. As long as it concerns the agitated lunatics of the social centers, of some feminist in ideological heat or with fasciophobic hotties, or of scattered idiots of grillism and old leftism, we got over it. How to betray November IV

FIFTH COLUMN
Of Marcello Veneziani
After a year of masochistic commemorations to self-mortify, the day finally arrived when we are forced to remember the Victory and its centenary. There he is, il 4 November, On the contrary on November 4th, Fatherland Day. But you will have already heard how that anniversary is transformed into the Official Story told by presidents, ministry, media and professors: Victory disappears, the Nation as well, to the Homeland only a timid puff of powder and the fallen are spoken of as poor victims of nationalism and their leaders. The rest will be all a celebration of peace, dell’Europa, of humanity with the implication that heroes and victims of war have fallen in vain, for a bloody illusion.
The memory of the Great War is exactly reversed: it becomes the celebration of Europe and the mortification of nations identified in nationalism. But the historical truth says exactly the opposite: the First World War was the funeral of Europe and the triumph of Italy, although mutilated.
From that conflict Europe in fact emerged ruined and weakened, it was no longer the center of the world, it lost the Central Powers that were its backbone, the world began to divide between the American West and the communist East, crushing Europe in the middle or relegating it to the periphery. Communism was born from that conflict and then the reaction to it, German frustration was born which led to Nazism, fascism was born. With the Second World War, the decline of Europe started by the first reached its epilogue. The eyes of the pacifist ideology do not want to see the tragic and glorious reality of that event. The '68 as it has never been…inverted. A critical reading with Marcello Veneziani

Of Nicola Zanotto
'68 created children and even grandchildren. He came to power and became mass conformism, On the contrary, standard of living. It has created clichés and new prejudices, ideological codes, to be respected implacably in order to be admitted to one's own time, come il politically correct
The healing properties of Tempo are now a consolidated object of that science of "feel common” which so much of the world's population relies on, some due to forgetfulness of love and some simply to remove a bad period. Distracted (by itself, as always), Even Politics is not immune to it.
Here's why, a 50 years from a dream imagined by "nightmarish" people, you can afford to redesign and compare, even if only for just one evening (cit.), what would still be the same about our current society...overturning '68.
The initial quote is the son of the most aware and always effective Marcello Veneziani, next guest of the series of cultural and informative meetings signed People.
The Hall of the Unified Army Club, area Castelvecchio, tomorrow will therefore see the philosopher as the protagonist, essayist and journalist, from hours 21.
Moderators of the meeting will be city councilor Andrea Bacciga e Carlo Barbessi of the nations.

Raibelli

FIFTH COLUMN
Of Marcello Veneziani
There is one emergency among others in Italy, not the most important, God forbid, but perhaps the most conspicuous. AND the monopoly of the public narrative, an indecent spectacle. State information, and a large part of the private one, every day he churns out a one-sided version of the facts according to the ideological-political canon of the left. Even now that the left does not govern and represents a highly minority share of Italian citizens. On the contrary, the collapse of consensus and credibility accentuates rather than attenuates the bias of information, also to establish an alibi in advance: the nominees want to be seen as victims of purge when new appointments are made, given that the political shareholder of reference who has always appointed the top management has changed. And so for preventive purposes they increase the doses of their factionalism to then pass as martyrs of the Idea and the Profession. Read More

You again, Benito

Of Marcello Veneziani

Like today seventy-five years ago Mussolini he was freed from imprisonment in Campo Imperatore. Today the first volume of a monumental work dedicated to the leader tries to free him from the damnatio memoriae Antonio Scurati which goes to the bookshop today, M. the son of the century (ed. Bompiani, 840 pages, 22 euro). It seems strange but in the river of books dedicated to fascism and the Duce there is not a biographical novel entirely focused on his figure. Mussolini appears there a thousand and a thousand times as an evil demiurge, as a menacing shadow or as an ogre in individual stories, even private ones. But a fictionalized biography about him, in multiple volumes, without an apologetic or denigrating tone, something of a narrative equivalent of the monumental historical biography of Renzo De Felice, it wasn't there yet. Curious to see it, especially given the author's premises/promises of equidistance and the confession of having been subjugated by the character, and perhaps fascinated. It also happened to De Felice, who also came from an anti-fascist culture, left. Furthermore, Scurati does not lack narrative talent and a free gaze.
I would like to object something to the title because Mussolini may have been the son of his century but above all he was its father because he generated events, followers, imitations, works and curses like few others. He was the father of fascism and stepfather of anti-fascism. Some even considered that Mussolini invented an eternal category, Urfascism (Umberto Eco). Son of a century but father of an eternity, nice paradox, Benito.
In truth, Scurati's fictional biography renounces too large and significant a part of Mussolini's life: the one that precedes the foundation of fascism, il 1919, that is, the life of an anarchist, as a revolutionary socialist, as leader of the most radical left, as a master, journalist and writer, exile and prisoner, and then director of Avanti and other effervescent magazines, until the foundation of the Popolo d'Italia. But also Mussolini fighting in the First World War. Scurati's Mussolini is already the founder of fascism, much of his life has already passed. Read More

House of intolerance

FIFTH COLUMN
Of Marcello Veneziani
The left it is today the main house of intolerance functioning at full capacity. Although defeated at the polls and a minority in the country, he exercises his intolerance on the living and the dead, on the elected and those not aligned with political correctness, uses the past as a weapon to attack the present, places vetoes and prohibitions, threatens those who express different opinions by presenting them as crimes, thanks to ad hoc laws that date back to its governments. He uses the shock troops of the media and the armored forces of the magistrates to put his enemies in check and outlawed. It is a house of intolerance that instigates ideological prostitution.
The reflection came to me yesterday following a small but yet another significant episode. They called me from Rai to ask me to participate in a program on right, extremism and intolerance. Pay attention to the theme, already says it all. They wanted me to make the right salami in a left sandwich, having a theme that already suggests the solution. We talk about the right and the association of ideas becomes a criminal association. Yet the right is politically the majority in the country, the right is historically a sense of the State and the Nation, the right is culturally tradition and civilization, order and security. I know how it will end

FIFTH COLUMN
Of Marcello Veneziani
I know how it will end. I know this because I know the story, I know people, I know the potentates, I know immigrants. I know them like you know them, from experience, precedents, realism and use of the world. Until yesterday the scene was as follows: I haven't heard an Italian that I didn't agree with Salvini, that he did not consider it absurd to incriminate an Interior Minister who is doing his duty, as well as his electoral mandate, to safeguard the nation's borders, as provided for by the Constitution, and protect Italians, reject illegal arrivals and reiterate that migrants do not land in Italy but in Europe. It is absurd that we have to remember Europe when it comes to paying debts or not breaking the bank. And instead we must forget about Europe when the migrants arrive because then, suddenly, we become a nation and we have to deal with it ourselves. Our sovereignty consists in the obligation to welcome them, even if everyone else doesn't want them. Until yesterday there wasn't a person I spoke to who wasn't of this idea in one way or another.
On the other hand, I haven't heard a news broadcast, and program, a commentator, a man of power or a newspaper that was not aligned against Italy, against the Italians, against Salvini and on the side of Europe that doesn't care about migrants, on the side of the judges who indict ministers in the name of the law, on the side of migrants who land illegally. A dry match, the united people on one side, compact power on the other. Almost no one in Salvini's company, the League is there but you can't see it, there is only him, there is the Meloni and then down the desert. The grillini, when they are not hanging on the Fig Tree, and therefore they lean to the left, they act like di Maio in order to float and stay where they are, and play at being superminister, he is ready to take it all back and dump the Ally on whom the Palace's media-judicial cannons are aimed, dai catto-bergogliosi to the scattered left.
