Dear director, once again it is a book that shakes the unadorned rooms of Santa Marta, where Pope Bergoglio has been staying for five years. It is a profound reflection on the Pontificate, not a scandalous book, which comes out on the fifth anniversary of the election of Pope Bergoglio and seems to gather the discontent of an increasingly disoriented curia and episcopate. To write it,not a reporter looking for scandals but a thoroughbred journalist, Mauro Mazza, for years at the top of Rai publications. “Bergoglio and prejudice” (Publisher Pages,210 pages) it was written on the original basis of articles and occasional notes, subsequently assembled or, more often, expanded and rewritten. A book written by a courageous Catholic that leaves the reader full of questions. In his merciless overview he touches on all the most controversial points of this five-year period,from divorced people to homosexuals, from openings in foreign policy, especially towards the Orthodox of Moscow, up to the anomalies of some centers of power,as Communion and Liberation.
