The Catholic Club “Christ the King” and the friendly associations rally around our National Manager Matteo Castagna due to the death of his mother, highly esteemed woman of Faith and teacher, who was an active part of the group, especially in recent years. E’ died in a Christian way, praying together with his son, alone 66 years. Matteo Castagna and his wife Silvia thank Don Ugolino Giugni for the spiritual comfort and for the celebration of the funeral in Verona, at the church of the lady's residence, altar boys for the liturgical service, availability, participation and generosity of all, starting from the institutions, to relatives and numerous friends and colleagues. Thanks also to those who wanted to send a message of condolence, despite being distant or no longer in relationships for a long time.

The system has now totally failed “Bolivarian socialist” of which Venezuela is the most tragic example (the country is literally starving, prey to organized criminal groups, violent petty crime, black market, unemployment and shortage of goods in the markets, with beyond 3 millions of emigrants in recent years) it seems that South America is also veering towards a worrying right. And I say all this without basic preconceptions: I feel neither right nor left, these are now worn out labels that are stuck on this or that’ another character, party and movement. I would talk about populism but in the case of Bolosonaro I don't know if the term “populist ” is suitable. I think not, effectively. Honestly, I'm not worried about the politically incorrect phrases in the quest’ man nor by his attacks on women and his misogyny. I really don't worry about this and indeed if someone managed to make the feminists lose their temper, now unbearable and harmful, he would have my sympathies. I'm not even worried about admiration for Trump, the Philippine president Duterte and our Salvini. What worries me about Bolsonaro is his economic agenda, which is literally devastating for the environment and the very rich biodiversity of Brazil. This is about building a highway to cut the Amazon in two, a crazy project that had already been set aside in the past. He also promised a free hand to the “farmers”, to miners and announced a program to build mega power plants. Obviously traditional, not alternative energies. He says that 7,000 square kilometers deforested in a year are too few and by 2021 we should get to at least 25-30.000 km2 per year, furthermore he talks about enormous cultivations carried out with Monsanto's GMO methods where everything will be deforested. If I think about November 1st 1972, when he died Ezra Pound, A black gondola appears in my eyes as it carries the poet's body in a sober chestnut coffin on its final journey to the Island of San Michele.; his thin, curved, hieratic body, his head framed in a mythical white crown on his head and around his face, which shone in the sun like a hieratic aura. Every time I go to Venice I can't separate what I see from what I remember, every gondola seems to me to preserve the memory of him, the remains of the mad poet, who loved Italy and its tradition, Dante and Cavalcanti.
For days we have been talking insistently about Pound in relation to current events, indeed to political-judicial news. They are indignant that a movement like CasaPound he “appropriated” that name. After having “canonized”, il 27 April 2014, John XXIII and John Paul II, Francis-Bergoglio returns to us with the "canonization", il 14 last October, of Paul VI.
The modernists who have occupied the seat of Peter for sixty years no longer even use gloves, they do not hesitate before any provocation: they "beatify" and "canonize" each other in a hurry. It was in fact John Paul II who inaugurated this trend, “beatifying”, il 3 September of 2000, John XXIII; and to make the pill swallow the same day he “beatified” Pius IX.
A mockery of the entire world: simultaneously honor the Pope of the Syllabus and the organizer of Vatican II... the Pontiff of Catholic intransigence in a world revolted against God, and the propagator of religious freedom and the cult of man.
Naturally, the "canonization" of Pius IX was never followed by his canonization, contrary to what happened with John XXIII. It was simply a subterfuge to prevent the traditionalists from shouting.
On the other hand, it is unthinkable for the apostates today in the Vatican to "canonize" the Pope of Quanta Cura, who energetically opposed the world and modern civilization.
