Modernism is «synthesis of all heresies». It is a "system of delusions" that "opens the way to atheism". The first and immediate cause of Modernism lies «in the aberration of the intellect». As its remote or moral causes we recognize "curiosity not wisely curbed and pride". The modernists, Furthermore, «they owe their deceptions and trappings to total ignorance of scholastic philosophy». To "mislead people" they use a "double tactic". They laugh, they despise and marginalize the wise; finally they dedicate themselves with zeal, openly or behind sophistries, to the "fierce fight against the Religion of Jesus Christ". Nonetheless, modernists also know how to be flatterers and attentive to human respect. They agitate their "counsels of destruction within the Church", the danger lurks "almost in her very veins and bowels". The "most obvious" clue to recognizing a modernist is the "craze for novelty". The modernist «goes against the Magisterium, against Tradition, against history". True Catholics "are marked by the modernists with the utmost malice and envy". In this volume Father Jean Baptiste Lemius (1851 – 1938), using the Pascendi dominici gregis di Papa San Pio X, illustrates Modernism to the simple, highlights the dangers and indicates the remedies. A Catechism on Modernism composed of 510 articles in the form of question and answer, introduced by Card. Merry del Val, blessed by the Pontiff and the Holy Church. It is a necessary antidote to survive the many "chairs of plague that inculcate their destructive doctrines in churches, in congresses, in books, in society". Irresponsible use of the internet has made the situation much worse. In the 20th century most of the protagonists of Modernism, many already condemned by the Church, they were surprisingly elevated to "fathers" and "doctors" within the Second Vatican revolution. The book «Catechism on Modernism», by Upward Hearts, it was edited by the Lucanian journalist and essayist Carlo Di Pietro. Sursum Corda is non-profit and uses its entire income for association activities and for spiritual and corporal works of mercy.

Fascism between history and revolution.

Among the kaleidoscopic images of fascism, the autobiography that the Mussolini movement wanted to offer about itself has often been underestimated. Through the analysis of “precursors” it is instead possible to read against the light what fascism deemed itself to embody and represent in the construction not only of a new social order, but also of a lifestyle inspired by a peculiar vision of the world.
During the twenty years of the regime, the debate developed in the contrast between those who believed that in these constructions fascism was in continuity with national history and that only in this continuity would the achievements that were carried out have the necessary solidity to last and those who instead believed that fascism should present itself as a radical revolution that constituted a clear break with the historical past of the nation.
If fascism did not clearly choose one of the two positions it is because it was still looking for its own ideological definition, but the necklaces dedicated to the pre-fascists and the forerunners, the parliamentary debate and even some statements by Mussolini himself, although reluctant to recognize precursors for his creation, lead us to lean towards the continuity thesis.
An inevitable propensity in a movement that considered the historical dimension of the individual and the State to be indispensable.

D: Dr. Perucchietti, his essay comes out almost concurrently with the Interior Ministry's announcement that the new online service for reporting fake news will be launched in view of the political elections ( fake news), the citizen will only need to enter the new Postal Police website, and click on a virtual red button and «report news that in our opinion seems to be hoaxes». His first impression on how the "new public service" will work and whether it will have an impact on the upcoming political elections, from the publication of memorials against opponents to fake news one could say…
R: The discussion is very delicate. In a nutshell, however we can think that in the future it could be used as a data collection and on the other as a censorship system to muzzle the web by progressively aiming to censor inconvenient sites and alternative information. I believe that this service is part of an increasingly aggressive campaign against fake news which, however, does not have the objective of protecting public opinion, as much as social control.
Once the reports have been received, a dedicated team from Cnaipic, a specialized body of the Postal Police will carefully verify through the use of specific techniques and software e, in case of proven unfoundedness, will publish a denial. How, I wonder, it will be decided which contents are true and which are false? How far will this system go?? We don't know. However, we know that in Europe the war on fake news is becoming increasingly heated and there are still few researchers, intellectuals and journalists are opposing all this. Something similar, Indeed, it is also happening in France: in the press conference at the beginning of the year, Macron has announced a bill to combat fake news and strengthen control of content on the internet during the election period.
