the next one 9 November we will have our guest the famous Catholic writer Rino Cammilleri who will present his book “My name is Judas”.
Because Judas delivers Jesus to the Sanhedrin after following him for three years? The hoped-for Messiah, performs unheard-of miracles. Despite this, Judas is shocked by what he sees and hears around him. Observe, broods, he hesitates, he is divided between anxieties and uncertainties, doubts and torments, as understandable in a man as they are inadmissible in one in whom Jesus placed such great trust.
Because the twelfth apostle betrayed? Pride? Pride?
But above all, Which warning and teaching we can grasp so that even today we do not make the same mistakes in betraying Him who two thousand years ago taught us the Way of Life, of Truth and Freedom.
The appointment is for Friday 9 November 2018 in the main hall of the Volano elementary school (TN) in via Raffaelli at 20:30.

Born in Cianciana (Ag) il 2.11.1950, after high school in Agrigento he graduated in Political Sciences in Pisa. He started out as an assistant in Diplomatic and Consular Law in the same faculty and then moved on to teaching legal and economic subjects in secondary schools.. For some time he has been exclusively a writer, the columnist and the lecturer. He has written in various national newspapers. He currently collaborates with LaNuovaBussolaQuotidiana online and the magazine «Studi Cattolici». He writes columns in the daily newspaper «Il Giornale» and the monthly magazine «Il Timone».. Author of several introductions and prefaces, he edited the series «The cathedrals of time» for the Piemme publisher. His interventions appear in various collective volumes.
For many of those who interview him, Rino Cammilleri is "the apologist" or "he of the saints", given the daily columns he held for five years in «Avvenire» and for about twenty (until now) on «Il Giornale» (as well as the one entitled «Il Kattolico» in «Il Timone» since its first issue).
But he is also a novelist. In this latter capacity he prefers historical detective stories, which he has attempted several times (see the section on books).
Many of his books have been translated abroad, even in Polish, Greek and Romanian.
