The terrible massacre announced by the State of New York was not enough, where the Democrats passed a law that allows abortion up to the moment of birth for any reason, now other attempts are also being added to legalize similar aberrations, in America: in Rhode Island, Vermont and Virginia.
In the latter state, a further step has been taken towards the abyss: was introduced by Democrat Kathy Tran, a bill that would provide for abortion up to the stage immediately preceding childbirth, that is to say, at the time of dilation. The incredible proposal is contained in a short and chilling video easily found online where Tran acts as speaker and Republican Gilbert peppers her with a series of questions, asking her to specify precisely up until which point in the third trimester of pregnancy abortion will be permitted. In the end Tran, after having dodged the question several times, she is forced to admit that her bill does not include a limit.
It is the confirmation of the inclined plane theory of which the principle of self-determination represents an eloquent expression and which is destined to generate an unstoppable and endless race towards an abyss of which we can no longer even glimpse the bottom. Further demonstration of this is Ralph Northam's speech, governor of Virginia and former pediatric neurologist, which during the program Ask the governor, not only did he defend Tran's proposal but he highlighted with satisfaction an aspect that would be included in this bill (fortunately, temporarily stopped), that is to say the elimination of the obligation to help children who survive an attempted abortion. To be precise, referring to cases of newborns with malformations or unable to survive outside the womb, stated that «the child would be kept comfortable, he would be resuscitated if that is what the mother and family want, and then a discussion would follow between the doctors and the mother».
Words that suggest that the fact that the child is allowed to live is not at all a given because it could easily depend on a decision by the doctors and the family. Trump commented on Northam's terrible statements by stating firmly: «the Democratic Party has never been more outside the mainstream. They are becoming the party of socialism, of short-term abortion, of open borders and crime». He then made a promise: «Millions of innocents, beautiful children are counting on us to protect them, and we will. That's why last week I called on Congress to pass it immediately a law prohibiting extreme long-term abortion». He then concluded his remarks with a reaffirmation of America's core values: «We believe in the American Constitution and our great rule of law, we believe in the dignity of work and the sacredness of life; we believe that faith and family, not the government and bureaucracy, are the center of the American way of life".
