Outburst of uncontrollable anger (as we saw in Macron) and conspiracy delusion in an oligarch who feels his power is in danger: for him the exponents who have the support of public opinion and an electorate that voted for them, they are not legitimate opponents; they are paid fifth columnists, traitors – to be shot when the time for More Europe is ripe. Naturally, no evidence to support the serious accusation.

If we were to agree with Verhofstad and adopt his way of thinking, we would be forced to define Macron as a "fifth column"., for example, the Italians who were awarded the Legion of Honor, France's highest honor, whose motto is "Honor and Country”: understanding that the "homeland" for which they have acquired merits, it is the one whose capital is Paris.
