HOLY LAND – Palestine, the Christian religion becomes one of the subjects for school graduation
The decision reached afterwards 13 years of debates. A ministerial text approved. In Bethlehem, the kids are thrilled. Previously the test was only internal, not recognized at state level
Bethlehem (AsiaNews) – At the next high school exams, Christian and Muslim students will face a test side by side, each on their own religion. For the first time, the Christian religion is in the official subjects of the "tawjihi", the final exam for high school students (12but class). Brother Marwan Di'Des tells it, Franciscan and director of the School of the Holy Land in Bethlehem. In the Palestinian Territories the school year started on 29 August (to the joy of the little ones and the regret of the high school students, Brother Di'Des comments laughing). For the 2018-19, final year Christian students will take an additional subject in the national exam: “Christian education”. The decision is the result of 13 years of debate and work. For the test, the Palestinian Ministry of Education has approved a textbook drawn up with the collaboration of all the churches (“churches”, ndr) in Palestine. In previous years, the exam concerned only Islam, although both religions are obligatory. “The issue is one of social justice: if the Muslim boy can take an official exam, why not the Christian?”, comments between Di'Des. “It is a great result because in the Holy Land we are less than 2%. This absolute minority that manages to have a state exam for their religion is an important success. It is also a sign that the Authority recognizes our pedagogical role." (…) Equality between Muslim and Christian children is a lively issue for the Bethlehem school, where the 67% of the students are Christian and the rest are Muslim. (…)

Cent'anni dalla parte sbagliata

Image results for Bruno SegreReporting of Federici Studies Center

We report an interview that Bruno Segre released to the newspaper “La Stampa” for his hundredth birthday. The errors of secularism and anticlericalism emerge in the responses in a transversal way (like the Masonic sects that have always professed and spread these errors) they are present in the programs of several Italian parties, from far left to far right.
They are the errors that fought and overthrew the social kingdom of Christ, the only reference that a Catholic should have in the political and social sphere. In the interview Segre defends the divorce, euthanasia and civil unions, accuses the Catholic Church of "inadmissible privileges" and hopes for an increasingly stronger public school system (against denominational schools). The lawyer ends the meeting with a petty blasphemous expression. Our wish for him is to get on the right side at least in the last days of his life, to avoid the eternal mortal embrace with that Satan who, in his long life, he contributed to reigning in the Italian state.
Bruno Segre: “My battles for rights in Turin with a thousand faces”. One hundred years of the lawyer, a life of political and civil commitment (interview by Alberto Sinigaglia, The Press of 3/9/2018, pag. 25)
He interviewed Magnani and Totò, Josephine Baker naked and the "teacher with the red pen" dressed: Bruno Segre dreamed of being a journalist, it seemed like a good job to him. But he chose to be a lawyer and was the first to defend a conscientious objector. He started in 1949 twenty years of battles that would have established that right. Then, alongside Loris Fortuna, worked towards the introduction of divorce. Tomorrow he turns one hundred years of a high intensity life: friendship with Natalia Ginzburg in high school, the meetings with Pavese, graduating with Luigi Einaudi, the humiliations of the racial laws, anti-fascism, two arrests, the escape, the bullet stopped by the cigarette case, prison in the political slaughterhouse in Via Asti, free thought as faith and mission. How many things he has seen change? Energetic and lucid, it starts from Turin, where he was a municipal councilor elected in 1975 in the ranks of the PSI, when eighteen-year-olds voted for the first time. Objectives achieved: September Music, Green dots, Summer guys. Dreamed goals: two subway lines.

Long live Saint Pius!

Image results for Saint Pius
Although not adhering to the Cassiciacum Thesis, as widely known, the Christus Rex Circle shares and recognizes itself in the observations of this article in every anti-modernist statement
Giuseppe Federici Study Center – For a new onset
Press release no. 63/18 of the 3 September 2018, Saint Pius X
We celebrate the feast of Saint Pius (n. 69, July 2018), which indicates the anti-modernist doctrinal line to follow in order to remain faithful to the teaching of the holy pontiff.
Editorial of the Sodalitium magazine, n. 69 July 2018
“The hiatus between the statements of the 19th century Popes and the new vision that begins with Pacem in Terris is evident and there has been much debate about it. It also lies at the heart of Lefebvre and his followers' opposition to the Council.". It is not the first time that Joseph Ratzinger expresses his opinion on the irreconcilability between the teaching of the Church (“the statements of the Popes of the 19th century”) and the modern one (O human dignity - come who - Peace on earth): we have already talked about it in relation to his greeting speech to the Roman Curia of 22 December 2005, his Membership no. 59, pp. 41-43. The hiatus (in the figurative sense of “interruption”, “solution of continuity”) it is therefore "evident", that is, immediately and totally comprehensible.

Holy Land: water is not the same for everyone

Image results for Holy LandReporting of Federici Studies Center

Thirsty Palestine
Having running water at home in the Palestinian Territories is not at all obvious or normal.
Neither in the West Bank nor in the Gaza Strip. For multiple reasons. Some testimonies from Bethlehem.
Observing the landscape around Beit Sahour, urban center east of Bethlehem, the cisterns on top of the houses allow Palestinian homes to be distinguished from buildings that are part of Jewish settlements. This is explained by the locals who every day deal with the problem of water shortage. The tanks on the houses are useful, Indeed, to conserve water or collect rain, but not all homes need it. In the West Bank, water is distributed differently from house to house, at a distance of a few meters from each other. To overcome the inconveniences of the water emergency, the population does its best, but the problem of resource management remains an open wound that shows no signs of healing, indeed it is "an obstacle to peace", as the BBC defined it.
According to the Palestinian Water Authority, il 95 percent of Palestinian water supplies are found in aquifers (there are three underground basins). Surface water, that could theoretically be available, instead it comes from the floods of the wadis (seasonal streams), from the possible desalination of the waters of the Dead Sea and the Jordan River. None of these resources, However, it is in fact usable by the Palestinians.

Those of the solstice…

Reporting of Federici Studies Center

The Grand Orient celebrates the Summer Solstice
Let's celebrate, according to an ancient and consolidated tradition the summer solstice, one of the anniversaries that have particular relevance for Freemasonry due to the high esoteric value that accompanies the meaning and effects of the alternation of darkness and light both in cosmic perfection and in our incessant initiatory work.
On this particular day which marks the triumph of light, its moment of greatest splendor, of maximum intensity in the eternal cycle of revolution that the Earth carries out around the sun, we Masons can admire the greatest and most beautiful expression of harmony and perfection that accompanies the work of the sun which produces copious fruits for the necessary regeneration of nature and at the same time of man who is an integral part and draws life and strength from it.
Us too, after having worked intensely and incessantly on sowing with the ritual work done in the winter months, we prepare to collect the light, energy and heat, the love and knowledge necessary for the continuation of our interminable work in this June which favors the fruitful maturation of the wheat.
Strengthened by our commitment and our tenacious workshop work, we are therefore preparing to enjoy the fruits in the sunlight, before the summer break which will see us busy recovering our energy in view of the resumption of our architectural works after September XX.
Dearest brothers, let's continue to look at the sun and let us too become little shining suns for our Obedience and for Humanity.
Happy solstice!

Save soldier Mohamed

Reporting of Federici Studies Center

This is who the 'untouchable' rebel groups of the Daara enclave are
Most of the rebel militias present in southern Syria in the Daara governorate (1400 square km ed 1 million people), they report to a 'control room' called the "Southern Front" (o Shoutern Front – SF) was established 14 February 2014 by the United States and is also supported by European countries, as well as Saudi Arabia and Jordan. The coalition (which groups approximately 49 militias as well as local operations rooms ), has a main operations room in Amman (which is nothing other than the branch of the 'Military Operations Center' (MOC) of the United States for Syria).
While the membership of the Southern Front is controversial - because even though it falls under the aegis of the Free Syrian Army (FSA) , it has generally dissociated itself from the political opposition, the Syrian National Coalition (SNC) – what is certain is that it is financed by the United States and its allies. Their militias receive help from Jordan while - as we know - the Syrian government is thus prevented in any way from asserting its rights or obviously acting in any way in Jordan.
Shoutern Front uses very powerful and widespread activity in the mainstream media and from many sources (including the non-governmental organization 'Carter Center' founded by former president Jimmy Carter), it is judged as an entity that brings together 'moderately religious' and secular groups . This judgment, however, conflicts with the proven correlation of many of its members with the al Nusra group and with the jihad financed by the Saudis.
The Southern Front operates in the Daara provinces , Kuneitra and Suwaida and a few days ago it was defended by the spokesperson of the American State Department who threatened the Syrian army with serious consequences, in case of continuation of the offensive on Daara and surrounding areas on a grand scale.
As opponents the Southern Front has the Islamic State in the Daara enclave through a faction called "Jaysh Khalid bin al-Waleed" (also for this reason this group is barred from entering Jordan and from any type of help through the channels activated by Amman).
Although many militants come from the same clans and sometimes the same extended families, the Southern Front is opposed by the Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham group. Furthermore, in the Daara area there is also the faction called Jund al-Malahem which was born in 2015 from a break with Jabbat al Nusra , affiliated with al Qaeda. Its leader was an emir of Jabhat al-Nusra in Deraa. Currently the militants of this group no longer receive salaries and their activity is very limited.
Currently both the US and Southern Front believe that the truce agreed in the de-escalation area is open-ended and confers the permanent ability to establish a Western-financed fiefdom removed from the sovereignty of the Syrian government. Indeed, things were different, the de-escalation area was intended to de-escalate tensions and start negotiations in which all parties would find an agreement for reunification , behind specific and fair guarantees.
Instead Southern Front continues to set its sights on Damascus which is located in 100 km from the Daara enclave and its leaders do not hide that the conflict will not end with reconciliation but with the final victory against Assad.
In March 2018 hostilities resumed leading up to the imminent offensive of the Syrian army. Any chance of negotiation was promptly rejected by the Southern Front.
While the Syrian government has been trying to negotiate a possible agreement to ease the situation in the southern part of the country, in response, local militant groups became active by launching a preventive battle against the Syrian army.

I 150 years of the Basilica of Mary Help of Christians

Reporting of Federici Studies Center

Exactly one hundred and fifty years ago
9 June 1868: solemn consecration of the church of Mary Help of Christians
Preparations for the party
In mid-March Archbishop Riccardi set the consecration of the church for the first fortnight of June. Everything was now ready: the two bell towers of the facade surmounted by two archangels, the large golden statue on the dome already blessed by the archbishop, the five marble altars with their respective paintings, including the wonderful one of Mary Help of Christians with the child in her arms, surrounded by angels, apostles, evangelists, in a riot of light and colours.
An exceptional plan for preparation was then triggered. First of all it was a question of finding the consecrating bishop; then to contact various bishops for the solemn celebrations in the morning and evening of each day of the octave; also to issue personal invitations to dozens of illustrious benefactors, priests and lay people from all over Italy, many of which should be worthily hosted at home; finally to prepare hundreds of young people both to solemnize the pontifical and liturgical ceremonies with songs, and to participate in academies, games, parades, moments of joy and happiness.
