Salvini closed a crucial week of his political and government struggle with a bang: becoming the most important man in the newly formed sovereignist formation inspired by Steve Bannon, “The Movement”, can count on a European level. A counter-move probably much heavier than the same Facebook video that literally sent the center-left opposition into madness (but also some government allies...), in response to the judicial siege of the Genoa prosecutors (on the League's accounts) and Agrigento and Palermo (on the Diciotti question) who in recent days seem to have sounded the charge for the final attack on the Ministry of the Interior.
The announcement of Salvini's membership of the creation of Trump's former advisor must immediately be placed in an international and electoral context: Bannon is weaving the threads of a sovereignist aggregation across the Old Continent in view of the European elections in May. And in fact he is touring Europe in suitable company.
In the ad photo, Salvini is portrayed between the American ideologist and Mischaël Modrikamen, author of the tweet with which the political agreement was announced, European representative of the movement. The man, a lawyer, he is the president of the Belgian People's Party and European representative of The Movement.
