Urbi et Orbi Message of Pius XII, Easter 1957
Once again an immense multitude "of every language and people and nation" (Apoc. 5, 9) fills this majestic square, which, beloved sons and daughters, it seems that everyone embraces you and unites you. And with you, present in spirit, they are the millions of other faithful, who devoutly listen to Our voice.
A new light shines in your eyes, a hymn of joy and glory resonates in your hearts : thousands and thousands of voices sing it, the harmonies of the organs accompany it, they spread it in the air, on the mountains and in the valleys, the ringing of bells. It's Easter. It is the day that the Lord made for our exultation, for our joy : "These days, which the Lord did: let us rejoice and be glad in it" (in Off. Because. Resurrect.).
The Lord knows how we would like to penetrate every home, pass through all the hospital wards, stop blessing next to every cradle, bend over with tenderness over every suffering; we would like to be able to free everyone from all fears, to give peace to all, to fill everyone with joy. Unfortunately it is not possible to do what we would like; and then We will restrict ourselves from addressing Our word to you, to confide to you - as we have done on other occasions - some thoughts born in our hearts during our meditation.
The echoes of the « Praeconium paschale » have just died away, and We still have in our soul a particular reason among the many that follow each other, they intertwine and merge in bold harmony. After the invitation to rejoice, addressed to the angelic crowd of heaven, to the earth, to mother Church and to all peoples, the attention of the liturgical song focuses on the night that preceded the resurrection of the Lord. Real night, night of passion, of anguish, of darkness; and yet a blissful night: "a truly blessed night"; because she alone deserved to know the time and hour in which Christ rose from the dead, but above all, because it was written about it: the night will light up like the day: "and the night will be lighted like the day". Shaukat Ali was made to kneel in the mud and punished by eating the pig, that his religion considers impure. The district goes to the vote on April 11. The sale of beef is legal in Assam. The President of the Indian of Maduzor-Eto-EItteat Muslimeen Partym: “Lynching of an innocent elder is illegal in every part of India”.
New Delhi (AsiaNews/Agencies) – A Muslim man from Assam was dragged, beaten with sticks and forced to eat pork by a group of radical Hindu "cow protectors". The group was furious because the man was selling cow meat, which is the sacred animal of the Hindu religion. For this reason the nationalists repaid him with religious "just punishment".: force him to eat the animal considered impure by Islam. The video was then spread on social media, where it has been shared and viewed thousands of times.
The accident occurred in Biswanath district 7 April. Shaukat Ali, the Muslim, he was made to kneel in the mud and surrounded by an angry crowd. In the video, the attackers can be heard screaming: “You have a license to sell beef? You are from Bangladesh? Your name is in the national register of citizens [Indians]?”.
Ali suffered several injuries and is hospitalized in the government hospital. According to the Indian news agency NDTV, the police arrested five people and registered two complaints. Rakesh Roushan, head of the district police, declared that the attack "is not an episode of sectarian tensions".

It is fought bitterly, and with no holds barred, the battle against the last stronghold of ISIS. And here too the curse of all the latest wars is repeated: mostly civilians die. Even when “ours are coming”.
The fundamental mechanism of propaganda is binary, unchanged for centuries: talk a lot or stay silent all the time. Talking a lot about other people's "sins" and keeping quiet about your own. A crude but effective mechanism, especially since mass information exists (in order of pervasiveness) newspapers, television and the Internet.

The first contentious divorce in the Italian republic of a non-marriage between two women.

The maintenance allowance for the first “contentious divorce” of a homosexual couple
Until a few days ago, Italian civil unions had been dissolved by mutual consent. Meaning what, no disputes.
But it happened that two women in a civil union did not reach a consensual agreement and the economically stronger one asked for a judicial divorce, ended with a historic ruling.
The protagonists are two women who had already lived together permanently since 2013 and that they had only been able to perfect their bond in 2016, thanks to the Cirinnà Law on civil unions. Legislation that essentially equates this institution to marriage, but it allows immediate access to divorce without going through the separation phase.
In Italy the procedure for dissolving a civil union is in fact very simple: just go to the civil registry officer of your municipality and communicate that the couple no longer intends to be together; after three months, we move directly to divorce.
Until a few days ago, Italian civil unions had been dissolved by mutual consent. Meaning what, no disputes. But it happened that two women in a civil union did not reach a consensual agreement and the economically stronger one asked for a judicial divorce, ended with a historic ruling.
The Court of Pordenone established that the economically stronger spouse must pay a maintenance allowance of 350 euros per month to the weakest one, a sum that will increase if the more fragile woman decides to leave the house they lived in together.
The Judge of Pordenone thus justified the sentence: the weaker spouse had left their city of origin and a more remunerative job to move to Pordenone and be together with their partner/wife, with which he had renovated and furnished a property that had become the family home; the two women had lived together for some years.
After all, if there is no obligation of fidelity for civilly united couples, instead, there is a mutual obligation to provide moral and material assistance and cohabitation. Both parties are therefore required, each in relation to their substances and their ability to work professionally and at home, to contribute to common needs.
So, equalization of civilly united couples with married couples even in the phase of dissolution of the bond.
