Christ the King!
Sunday 28 October 2018, party of Christ the King (established by Pope Pius 1925) a bit’ l’ “the feast of the saint you are named after” of our club “Christ the King” which takes its name in Latin because its mission is summarized in “Which first ones” of Pius XI. We had the grace of attending the Holy Mass. Tridentine Mass “not together with”, celebrated by a priest of’ I.M.B.C. which was followed by a convivial moment.Reporting of Federici Studies Center
Consecration of the human race to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, to be recited every year on the last Sunday of October
O sweetest Jesus, o Redeemer of the human race, look at us humbly prostrate before your altar. We are yours, and we want to be yours; and to live more closely connected to you, here is each of us, today he spontaneously consecrates himself to your most sacred Heart. Many, Unfortunately, they never knew you; many, despising your commandments, they repudiated you. O most benign Jesus, have mercy on both and draw everyone to your Most Sacred Heart. O Lord, be the King not only of the faithful who never distanced themselves from you, but also those prodigal sons who abandoned you; do that these, as soon as possible, return to their father's house, so as not to die of poverty and hunger. Be the King of those who live in deception and error, or by discord separated from you; call them back to the port of truth, to the unity of faith, so that soon there will be one sheepfold under one shepherd. Be the king finally of all those who are shrouded in the superstitions of Idolatry and Islamism; and do not refuse to draw them all to the light and to your kingdom. Finally look with an eye of mercy on the children of that people who were once the beloved; also descend upon them, bath of redemption of life, the blood already invoked above them. Bestow, oh Lord, safety and secure freedom for your Church, grant the tranquility of order to all peoples. Let this one voice resound from one end of the earth to the other: Praise be to that divine Heart from which our health came; May glory and honor be sung to him forever and ever. So be it.
