Verona, Bacciga: "E se fosse stato un errore?"

Today, on September 8th 1943, not everyone betrayed their homeland.

of the City Councilor of Verona, Lawyer. Andrea Bacciga
In Piazza Viviani there is a commemorative plaque of the battle in the Post Office building which took place on 9 September 1943.
In data 9.10.2000 the Verona newspaper "L'Arena" reported a letter from the journalist Sergio Stancanelli , reporting that “the so-called battle in the Post Office in which they allegedly took part 50 young people... it never took place" and "it is the result of pure imagination"
Theyig. Stancanelli had written that: “The reason why we didn't know about them wasn't just their personal details, but it wasn't even known where the bodies had ended up , lay in the fact that the fight had never happened and that the six heroes had never existed."
For this reason Stancanelli was sued for defamation, but he was acquitted with the formula of "no place to proceed", with sentence issued on 6 maggio 2004 by the Court of Verona, and the costs of the proceedings were borne by the injured party
Stancanelli himself wrote: "the defendant was spontaneously joined by various testimonies from people who attested that absolutely nothing had happened that day in the Post Office square. Among the many I want to mention that of a colleague who at the time was a delivery boy at a law firm and who that day was responsible for sending registered letters,he went to the central post office, dove, he testified, everything was quiet and the offices functioned regularly”.
The undersigned Councilor on 3 September 2018 has requested access to the documents to the Council Secretariat, requesting vision and copies of all the documentation relating to this plaque.
However, receiving negative feedback, or that there is no documentation in the following offices: demonstrations, monumental civil construction and plant engineering, service to citizens.
Today I filed a written question asking the competent Councilor, clarifications on the matter.
Excuse me, but what if it was a mistake, and it was discovered that there was never any battle of the Post Office building and never any death of "six unknowns" ,
in the absence of certain historical evidence demonstrating this event, it would perhaps not be permissible to remove this plaque?

Verona, anti-abortion motion, Andrea Bacciga saluta le "donne in rosso"

“Ma, Now, I can't even say hello anymore?” Thus the City Councilor of Verona Lawyer. Andrea Bacciga, in the face of the controversies sparked by the usual suspects, during last night's Council meeting, he remains amazed before his accusers. “In Verona I feel best represented by my friend councilor Andrea Bacciga. In Rome I really appreciate the statements of another friend, the Minister for the Family Lorenzo Fontana. On immigration and ethical issues they will not be intimidated by the new Stalinists, not even if some wander among the Sacred Palaces, and they will go straight, because the line is the right one” – thus comments Matteo Castagna.

Dear Editor,
I'm speaking on the sidelines of the annoying controversy triggered by the minority city councilor, and left, (a Verona, n.d.r.) Michele Bertucco.
This advisor, having assigned himself the role of thought policeman and censor according to the narrow canons of political correctness, stigmatizes the proposal of the city councilor Andrea Bacciga to name a street in our city after the artist and philosopher Julius Evola.
It is useful to remember this gentleman as authoritative protagonists of the cultural debate, from the left, and not only that, yesterday and today have, albeit in a different capacity, appreciated the figure of Evola. Among others, in no particular order: Cesare Zavattini, Fellini, Lucio Dalla, Roberto Saviano, Massimo Cacciari, Franco Volpi, Antonio Gnoli and Giuseppe Sinopoli.
