The flight of the Holy Family into Egypt was not emigration but the first anti-Christian persecution

Rereading the Gospel (the real one), Let's dispel the most popular misconceptions about Jesus in our time, Joseph and Mary
Of Antonio Socci

Dal 2013 […] the idea of the Holy Family as a family of migrants is relaunched. With an obvious political implication. […] In Acquaviva delle sources, in the province of Bari, they made a nativity scene (see photo) where Joseph and Mary are two migrants who are drowning in a sea of bottles and baby Jesus (of color) he's inside a life jacket.
But this idea is well founded “Migrant Christ”? The answer is simple: no. The Gospel tells a completely different story.

Sensational collapse of Italians' trust in European institutions

Reporting of BastaBugie editorial team

Italians are opening their eyes to the big scam: trust was at 70% In the 2011, today it collapsed at 34%
Of Antonio Socci

(AUTOMATIC READING)
The recent Ipsos survey on Italians' opinion on the European Union went almost unnoticed. Yet it is a hot topic and the popular response is decidedly embarrassing for mainstream living rooms and academies, who have a monopoly on public discourse.
In essence, Italians' trust in European institutions has plummeted. In the 2008 it was around the 75 percent and again in 2011 reached the 70 percent: today it collapsed at 34 percent.
Italy was once the most pro-European country on the continent and today it is one of the most eurosceptic. Never had trust in European institutions been so low.
We were pro-Europeans because they had made us believe that it was all a fabulous dream towards cosmopolitan happiness, like a gigantic edition of “Games without borders”, a mass Erasmus with the background of”Ode to joy” by Beethoven.
And they made us believe that the Euro was “the land flowing with milk and honey”. Rivers of rhetoric, of false promises and illusions.
Then the awakening. The precipice that goes from 75 percent per 34 per cent resembles the sudden awakening from a dream. It is the bitter disappointment of those who open their eyes to something (or someone), after having greatly deluded himself. Photograph the shock of those who realize they have been deceived. And he feels betrayed.
It is the state of mind of those who thought they had embarked on an earthly paradise and instead found themselves in hell. A utopia that becomes dystopia (or even cacotopia).
HOW ITALIANS HAVE OPENED THEIR EYES?
The reasons are many: the discovery of European institutions even worse than the Italian ones in terms of bureaucratic obtuseness and costs; the arrogance with which Italy is treated (also due to the subordination of past Italian governments); the feeling that there is someone who dominates like Germany, while Italy suffers the decisions of others.
But above all, dal 2011, two enormous phenomena have opened the eyes of Italians. Primo: the migratory invasion that Italy had to endure, alone, paying very high economic and human costs. With Europe that – in words – he gave us lessons in do-goodism and then closed the borders.
Second: the consequences – devastating for Italy – of the economic crisis of 2007-2008 which have dissolved all the fake promises about the euro and the European Union which – to listen to the propagandists – they would have protected our country from storms.
In recent years it has been discovered that in Italy – numbers in hand (but also from empirical experience) – we are much worse off than we were 25 years ago, before the Euro (as income, living conditions and how wealth is produced).
And everyone knows that for the first time our children – victims of massive youth unemployment and precariousness that ruins their future – they will be worse off than us. For the first time in our history.
FOREIGN GOVERNMENTS DECIDE
Furthermore, we realized that we are no longer masters of our destiny, that we are governed by foreign and unknown nomenklatures that none of us have ever elected. That foreign governments decide on us and impose their will in Brussels.
So we have the feeling of having been expropriated of our democratic sovereignty without anyone ever asking us for permission.
It's a right feeling. It corresponds to what happened from Maastricht onwards. Expropriated of sovereignty without our knowledge. After all, this is the real strategy pursued by the architects of the European Union.
It was expressed by Jean Monnet, who is one of the demiurges of the European institutions, In the 1952. He said: “European nations should be guided towards a superstate without their populations realizing what is happening. This objective can be achieved through subsequent steps, each of which is hidden under a purely economic guise and purpose”.
Hearing these words, Charles de Gaulle replied that Monnet wanted to create “supranational monstrosities”.
But over time it is precisely Monnet's technocratic plan that has prevailed. And here we are today “supranational monstrosity” to which the peoples of Europe are beginning to open their eyes. And to demonstrate their intolerance.

The new horizons of the Italian Parliament

of the Prof. Roberto de Mattei

The Conte government has obtained confidence, by a wide margin, in the House and Senate, but above all it was born with broad popular support. In fact, the polls attribute this to the two political forces that express it, Five Stars and League, about the 60% of suffrages. However, no government like this has been opposed by almost all of the Italian mass media.
Antonio Socci has well described this "universal prejudice" above Libero (3 June), while Marco Travaglio, are The Daily Fact (6 June), published a long anthology of the heavy judgments reserved for the nascent government by almost all the newspapers, left and right.
Conte was accused of being a «friend of the people like Marat» (Corriere della Sera, 18 maggio) and to prepare «a Venezuelan future» for Italy (The Sheet 16 maggio). «There is an Italian case in the West», wrote the director of The Press (27 maggio), while for the director of Republic, «the mixture of inexperience, improvisation and arrogance will not take long to emerge. Fasten your seat belts» (2 June).
This ideological factionalism has translated into violent intolerance towards the new Minister of the Family, Lorenzo Fontana, guilty of speaking out in favor of the natural family, protected by the article 29 of the Constitution, of having detected the existence of a demographic crisis in Italy and of having participated in the March for Life of 19 maggio. THE EU OR OTHER FOREIGN GOVERNMENTS CANNOT DECIDE WHICH MINISTERS ITALY SHOULD HAVE

Written and reported by Antonio Socci, “The Stranger”

The film that is airing these days is incredible. Germany complains about the intolerable interference of Italian voters (via Lega and M5S) in the formation of the new government in Rome which - apparently - they provide from Berlin, like you do with a colony.
In fact, from Berlin they make it known that they do not tolerate ministers they do not like. It's all out in the open, just read the newspapers.
She is scandalized "Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung" for the insubordination of the Italians towards the Germans: “Italy wants an enemy of Germany in government”.
Where "enemy of Germany" is simply meant an economist who wants to defend the Italian national interest and is critical of German arrogance. We have to stay, by subjects, under the Teutonic boot and kiss it too?
The "Sueddeustche Zeitung" explicitly exalts Mattarella who - according to them - is under siege from Italian voters: “never before has a President of the Republic been put under so much pressure as in recent days by the two parties” who “persist on the name of the radical Eurocritic Paolo Savona”.
According to them, it is not the EU, especially the Germans, to exert intolerable pressure on an Italian Head of State, but the parties most voted by Italians would be the ones who would press unduly who simply govern according to the Constitution. As if Mattarella was at the Quirinale to represent the EU (i.e. Germany).
But it is possible that Mattarella, instead of recognizing the will of the Italian voters, will become the spokesperson for the diktats coming from Berlin?
Hopefully this isn't the case. But you understand well what is happening when you read the Quirinalist of the “Press” Ugo Magri – very Mattarellian – who writes: “it is certain that Mattarella has raised the case of new book from Savona which puts to rest all the anti-Germanic feelings of its author, and accuses the Germans of hegemonic aims comparable to Hitler's".
And we need to think about when Matteo Salvini dice: “It's madness, it is pure madness to blow everything up because Merkel doesn't like Paolo Savona, because he dared to criticize Germany in one of his books".
With the full and significant support of Giorgia Meloni, in this battle for national independence, Salvini he rightly thundered: “German newspapers and politicians insult: Italian beggars, slackers, tax evaders, freeloaders and ungrateful. And we should choose an Economy Minister who suits them? No, Thank you! Italians first".
Salvini reasons with common sense and with the dignity that every political leader should have, as if we were in a country where the Italian people are still sovereign, according to the article 1 of the Constitution.
But evidently in recent years in Italy the pillar of the Constitution has been silently forgotten - defining it contemptuously sovereignism – and allowed foreigners to dominate.
So now Germany feels entitled give us orders. And the technocracy of the EU, in recent days, felt entitled to send its preventive warnings to Italy.
Without the highest offices of the State having felt obliged to defend the dignity and independence of Italy which among other things is one of the major industrial powers in the world.
No European country has seen such a thing foreign interference (not to mention the insolences that the German press throws at us).
On the contrary, Mattarella, instead of rising up against these intolerable interferences by the EU and Germany, seems to become their spokesperson and - turning the tables - accuses foreign powers and the EU of imposing "diktats"., but the League who simply - based on the vote received from the Italians - indicated Paolo Savona for the Treasury Ministry.
It seems like the situation described by Manzoni in the “Betrothed”. After the overbearing diktat of Don Rodrigo - who had ordered through two bravoes: “this wedding shouldn't happen” – Don Abbondio began to invent excuses, refusing to marry Renzo and Lucia to obey the arrogant lord.
The two young people thus devised a way to circumvent the incomprehensible veto of the fearful priest, ma don Abbondio scatenò il finimondo accusando di prepotenza Renzo e Lucia.
Manzoni comments:
“In the midst of this greenhouse greenhouse, we cannot stop ourselves from stopping for a moment to reflect. Renzo, that screamed at night in someone else's house,
who had snuck in there, and kept the master himself besieged in a room, he has all the appearance of an oppressor; nevertheless, at the end of the day, he was the oppressed. Don Abbondio, surprised, put to flight, scared, while he calmly went about his business, it would appear to be the victim; nevertheless, actually, it was he who was committing an abuse. This is how the world often goes...".

It is now clear that there is something at stake here much more than a simple ministry and much more than one EU reform like the one proposed by Savona (all the experts, aware of the situation, they know that change needs to be made), ma our own national sovereignty is at stake.
Mattarella risks taking on the very serious responsibility not only of sink a government, but also of drag the presidency of the republic into political contention and therefore in a very serious one institutional crisis.
Once the Quirinale enters the political dispute, some might even argue that the Italian state is submitting to the diktat of foreign powers.
As president Mattarella took the oath with these words: “Giuro di essere fedele alla Repubblica e di osservarne lealmente la Costituzione”. He knows well that this means being faithful to the Italian Republic and not to the German one. He knows well that he has to be guardian of the Italian Constitution, not of Merkel's wishes.
As a French economist said (moreover pro-European) Germany, after destroying the economy in Europe, is in danger of also destroy democracy. They “allow” you to change governments, but never policies. And this – complains that economist – will mark the end of the euro.
