Corruption, Formigoni sentenced on appeal to seven and a half years
Increased sentence of 25%, and 6 seven and a half years old, for the former senator and former president of the Lombardy Region Roberto #Formigoni, at the end of the second degree trial linked to the collapse of the San Raffaele hospital in Milan and the financial collapse of the Maugeri Foundation in Pavia. For Formigoni, in addition to the penalty, the ban from public offices was also aggravated, and 6 years a “in perpetuity”. The accusation is corruption: the then governor would have obtained a series of benefits, including the use of yachts, holidays and dinners, to favor the two bodies with council resolutions for approximately 200 millions of public reimbursements.
