Of Teresa Moro
The news we report is just one of the many episodes of violence and limitation of freedom of expression against those who say they are against abortion.
The protagonist is the journalist of Fox News Channel Denise McAllister, guilty of having spoken out clearly against abortion and today forced to live in hiding, due to the threats he received.
MCAllister comes from a challenging life story: she was in fact a victim of violence. However, this fact has allowed her to meet many raped women like her who, got pregnant, they had the courage to choose for life and thus arrive at develop a solid conviction pro-life. So much to write about Twitter very clear words: «At the basis of abortion hysteria is women's distraught desire for irresponsible sex. Sex is their god. Abortion is their sacrament. AND aberrant when women decide to throw themselves from the heights of the world's civilizing force into the slime and mud of dehumanizing depravity».

Afterwards, questioned by the press, the journalist clarified her thoughts: “You can't just end a human life just because you didn't want to be responsible of your actions, just because you placed a higher value on having sex than on human life".
The point we want to highlight here, however, is that, after the publication of tweet, McAllister received several private messages with threats of strangulation and rape, from which it also emerged that the authors were aware of the place where the journalist resides. All this led the woman to request police intervention, that he has hid her and her family and gave her an escort.
All this for speaking out – with strong words, of course – against abortion. And freedom of expression and thought? In front of the diktat of the culture of death do not count.
McAllister's case is only an emblematic one, but other similar news events could be added. Because life is so scary?
