The scam against donors and the needy was discovered by the TV program 'Striscia la Notizia'
They collected food for the poorest, but they resold the food to make a profit. The protagonist of this sad story is the charity "Daily Bread", among the most famous charitable associations in Italy. It is in fact a historical reality, which has been operating throughout the Milan area for more than a century, to guarantee sustenance for the neediest sections of citizens. Some reports in recent months have begun to raise suspicions about the real behavior of the association.
The scam was discovered by Canale's satirical news program 5 “The news spreads“, who in recent days sent accomplices to make videos. I video, shown on TV during the program, confirmed what was hypothesized: the food parcels were resold. The correspondent Max Laudadio carried out the investigation.
