Tax: in August over a million tax bills were suspended

Beyond 1 million le tax bills which are suspended in August. This was announced by the Revenue Agency and the Revenue-Collection Agency, in agreement with the Ministry of Economy and Finance which thus suspends the notification of more than one million tax bills, liquidation notices, requests for documentation and compliance letters.
It's about, in particular, we read in a MEF press release, of approximately 650 thousand communications from the Revenue Agency and approximately 450 thousand notices from Collection, which would have been delivered in August. No stops, Instead, for all so-called mandatory acts and which will therefore have to be sent anyway. The notification of all "frozen" documents will resume at the end of the weeks of suspension, during which, however, the ordinary activities of the structures of both Agencies will continue without interruption.

  • requests to intermediaries and taxpayers to produce documents relating to the formal control of tax returns on data relating to deductions, deductions and withholdings indicated in the declaration (these can be produced by next October 1st)
  • compliance letters relating to various types of income, for the tax year 2014, through which the Agency allows taxpayers to independently remedy any errors or omissions on declared income with reduced penalties


In announcing the suspension, the MEF also identifies the regional ranking of the overall documents "frozen" by the Agencies, in which we find Lombardy in first place (circa168mila), followed by Lazio (approximately 144 thousand) and from Campania (approximately 107 thousand). Behind Veneto (around 96 thousand) and Tuscany with around 90 thousand suspended acts. To follow, Piedmont (around 71 thousand), Emilia Romagna (around 63 thousand), Sardinia (just under 40 thousand), Abruzzo (around 29 thousand) and the Marche region (around 26 thousand). Trentino Alto Adige closes the ranking (just over 9 thousand), Molise (just under 4 thousand) and the Aosta Valley (with around 3 thousand acts suspended).
