The problem is that the “doctors” told her that none of them were usable. The woman and her husband returned home, saddened by not being able to have their child. And if the practice is already questionable, what happened next borders on the limits of the absurd.
Meanwhile the couple, after much effort, she managed to have a child. But they both would have wanted many more. Suddenly, but, the woman's husband died. The woman remarried. The woman was dumbfounded: she was told her embryos were unusable. And instead, after fifteen years, he discovered that one was still there. Except she couldn't "use" him anymore: not only the woman has passed the 40 years, but since the husband is deceased it is not possible to implant it in her womb because "there would be no consent".
«It's like mourning a dead child. I feel completely and utterly robbed.", the woman said, who sued the clinic to understand what happened to the other embryos. Since the clinic lends itself to surrogacy, the suspicion is that the woman's embryos were used clandestinely for this purpose.
