We had talked about the episode of Children's cartoon Arthur with a gay wedding. The episode, but, it did not air in Alabama. And it seems he will never go there, to avoid the trauma of watching a show like this for the little ones.
Basically, l’Alabama Public Television ha refused to show the premiere of the new season, intitolato “Mr Ratburn and the Special Someone”. Precisely the episode that presents the homosexual marriage of Arthur's teacher, Mr Ratburn .
Mr Ratburn's episode was also criticized by the group One Million Moms, who started a petition asking PBS to “immediately delete this controversial content”.
In the 2005, Alabama Public Television had already fought for this type of cause, preventing an episode of Arthur in which Buster from ever airing, a rabbit, visited a girl who had two mothers.
In that case, PBS and the Department of Education withdrew funding for Arthur.
