Orban wins by a landslide: "Ora stop ai migranti"
The Hungarians gave us the mandate for three things: first of all that we stop immigration, that we protect the Europe of nations and that we protect Christian culture in Europe”. Hungarian Prime Minister Vitkor Orban said this, in a speech in Budapest after the triumph of his Fidesz party, who got over the 52%. “We won the European elections – he stated, underlining “the record victory” – and we would like to thank everyone who voted for us”. Then, Orban, in a reference to the high turnout recorded, beyond 43%, he concluded: “Hungary has proven that it is a European nation, a European country. Our place is in Europe, Europe is our home and this is also why we want to change it”.
