Finally some good news: Hungary has definitively kicked out gender from all state universities, so long as, as declared by the Secretary for Education, Bence Rétvári, represents, «like Marxism-Leninism, an ideology and not a science".
The relevant decree, which will make the provision enforceable starting next year, it was signed by Prime Minister Viktor Orbán. There would have been no need, since enrollments in such courses, to say little scarse, they would have already justified their cancellation on their own. But the executive wanted to explicitly explain how the decision was not taken due to a question of numbers, but as a matter of common sense, as specified already last August by the Chief of Staff, Gergely Gulyas: «The Hungarian government does not intend to spend public money on education in this field», he specified. Effectively, has already withdrawn its financial support everywhere.
The provision affects all universities in general and, two in particular, that of Eòtvòs Loránd based in Budapest, and the other, George Soros' Central European University, which until now also distributed diplomas to those who attended such “discipline”.

Orban Vince against LGBT propaganda: “gender studies” prohibited

As, thanks to a legislative decree in force since 20 October, The teaching of gender studies in universities is prohibited in Hungary. “Gender theory” is not science but propaganda: stop public funds and a waste not only of money, but also of time. What professional figure could possibly generate such an academic program? The “genderologist”? Orban opposed it, aiming for the “restoration of morality”.
Morality, not even in this case, followed by George Soros: gender studies, they had started well 15 years ago at the behest of the Central European University of Budapest (university founded and financed by Soros himself). To better specify the reasons for the decree, Deputy Prime Minister Zsolt Semjen also expressed his opinion: “Gender studies is an ideology, not a science". And in a note, it adds that “the Hungarian government is of the opinion that people are born either men or women. We do not question everyone's right to live as they see fit, but the State cannot allocate resources for the organization of educational programs based on theories without scientific relevance".
Predictable and now stale, the series of controversies and "big words" thrown by'LGBT universe. Orban is an ogre and his is an "illiberal democracy that aims at the progressive reduction of freedoms. The most effective way to kill freedom at its root is precisely this, suppress free thought". President Patrick Gaspard, however, has already flown in person to the Hungarian capital to inform those around 100 dependent on the decision.
The remote battle between Orbán and Soros has been going on for some time. The casus belli that has now precipitated the situation has a rather explicit nickname: «Stop Row». This is the law that will be discussed by the Hungarian parliament next week and that the government has committed to passing which would impose a tax of 25% on all foreign donations to non-governmental organizations that support migrants in the country. Just like the «Open Society Foundations» of the American Jewish philanthropist of Hungarian origins, the third largest humanitarian organization in the world by assets (18 billions of dollars). Like today, in the night between 20 and the 21 August fifty years ago, Soviet tanks invaded Czechoslovakia and crushed the Prague Spring dream of freedom. They will talk about it adequately on TV and in the newspapers? They will also remember this shadowy side of '68? They will remember the infamy of those who defended them and took their side, as the Italian communists did? Or they'll say it's been too long now, and therefore we can talk about fascism and Nazism every day, dead 73 years ago, but we can no longer talk about communism, which is much more recent and present?
It should also be remembered that a part of the Italian communists dissociated themselves from the PCI and condemned the Russian invasion, as the Manifesto group did. But with a small detail: they did not dissent to embrace socialism with a human face but to pursue a much more inhuman socialism, the Chinese one, with Mao who with his cultural revolution was much bloodier than Stalin and Brezhnev. In a debate in a hall of the Chamber opened by Napolitano, a few years ago I remembered the silence of the PCI regarding the revolt, the contempt towards the insurgents and the silence of the party and L'Unità towards dissidents, come Jiri Pelikan, which was then "adopted" by Craxi's PSI. Fassino pointed out to me that, on the contrary, the PCI had supported Prime Minister Dubcek and socialism with a human face. Right, until Dubcek was in power, tolerated by the Soviet Union… But later, when the tanks arrived, and there was the revolt, an embarrassed silence fell and the orthodox thesis prevailed, supported precisely by the communist right of Amendola and Napolitano, that those who show solidarity with the insurgents are playing the usual lurking reaction game. The Italian communists aligned themselves with the Soviets, like in Budapest before, in '56, and to Gdańsk and Szczecin afterwards, in the '70s. Furthermore, we must not forget that until 1978 the funding for the PCI and L'Unità continued to come from the USSR, and the contributions from the Italian-Czechoslovak Association continued to arrive.
