Finally some good news: Hungary has definitively kicked out gender from all state universities, so long as, as declared by the Secretary for Education, Bence Rétvári, represents, «like Marxism-Leninism, an ideology and not a science".
The relevant decree, which will make the provision enforceable starting next year, it was signed by Prime Minister Viktor Orbán. There would have been no need, since enrollments in such courses, to say little scarse, they would have already justified their cancellation on their own. But the executive wanted to explicitly explain how the decision was not taken due to a question of numbers, but as a matter of common sense, as specified already last August by the Chief of Staff, Gergely Gulyas: «The Hungarian government does not intend to spend public money on education in this field», he specified. TRANS CYCLIST WINS WOMEN'S RACE

GAY PARTY STARTS?

ENGLISH SUPREME COURT: PASTRY CHEFS CAN SAY NO TO GAY CAKES
The homosexual activist Gareth Lee one day enters the pastry shop of the young Northern Irish pastry chef Daniel McArthur (pictured with his wife) and order a cake with it written on “Support gay marriage”. After accepting, McArthur thinks again: his religious conscience – he is evangelical – he wouldn't let him.
Lee takes the pastry chef to trial and this reaches the Supreme Court which agrees with McArthur. Being forced to bake a cake against his religious beliefs would have violated his freedom of expression. There is no discrimination because a similar reaction could also affect a straight person who asked the pastry chef to prepare a dessert with a writing whose content was not shared by the craftsman.
The pastry chef comments: «Many people will be satisfied because freedom of expression and conscience has been defended».
It should be noted that the dispute cost McArthur 200 thousand pounds in expenses, expenses paid by a private Christian association. Lee's expenses instead amount to 250 thousand pounds, supported by the Northern Ireland Equality Commission, an entity financed by public money.
