In an interview with the Catholic online newspaper New daily compass, the Minister of the Interior Matteo Salvini he has intervened on numerous issues concerning the relationship between politics and the religious world.
Salvini, among other things, has clarified that it wants to change the wording with which parents are currently indicated on the identity card. No more “parent 1” and “parent 2”, but a return to the more classic "mother" and "father".

Citizens tell us that when renewing their identity card the employee asks them to sign the form relating to organ and tissue donation. When the citizen refuses to sign, aware that the expression of will constitutes a right and not an obligation, the operator claims that the system does not allow him to proceed with obtaining the identity card, claiming that the signature is an obligation. Therefore the identity card is denied.
Not only that, the authorized Municipalities do not present to the citizen requesting the renewal of the Card d’ identity the standard form, that is, the scheme prepared by the Guidelines (n. 0002128 of the 29/7/2015) of the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of the Interior which regulates the expression of consent or refusal to donate organs and tissues. Instead they present a manipulated form with the addition of a third option "I do not comment on organ and tissue donation". This addition lists citizens who do not want to sign on principle and instrumentally places them in the limbo of those who cannot decide.
From our point of view and from how the story is experienced by the citizens who contacted us, this is an indisputable abuse of office, disguised as legality, abuse of power and ideological falsehood. Read More
