Migrants: an international success. And moral

Of Maurizio Blondet

ON MIGRANTS, AN INTERNATIONAL SUCCESS. AND MORAL .

ON MIGRANTS, AN INTERNATIONAL SUCCESS. AND MORAL .

Because no Italian newspaper or TV tells you, let's say it: on migrants, the Italian government has achieved great international success. A political and moral success, because it forced all the governments that accused us of inhumanity and violations of the rescue code because "Italy closes its ports", to declare that they are closing their Example the case of…

Italy and France are at war (and migrants are victims of a game bigger than them)

Italy and France are at war (and migrants are victims of a game bigger than them)

The issue of the Aquarius ship is only part of a broader clash between Rome and Paris regarding the destabilization of Libya, the military yards and the Tav. A conflict in which migrants have nothing to do, but they are victims of a clash between two mirror-image and opposing realpolitiks. (Of Alessio Postiglione, LAWS)

Seeing what a man Macron is? Orgoglio e dignità dell'Italia, finally

Of Marcello Foa
Seeing what a man Macron is? Pride and dignity of Italy, finally
Source: Marcello Foa
But if the spokesperson for En marche!, the party of French President Macron, judges Italy “vomitevole”, because it shouldn't be said? Because some of the mainstream press feels the need to tone it down, maybe even hide, as if the reputation of France had to be defended? Today that title appeared on some sites, then disappeared, then reappeared; others have drowned the epithet inside the piece.
All this, journalistically, it doesn't make sense. The insult was there, sure enough there was, very heavy. And although Macron himself then partially corrected the aim, judging the Italian government “cynical and irresponsible”, the case is serious.
The Italian press must not be embarrassed, who if anything should be indignant. It should be the French because it is not the Italian position that is unsustainable but theirs. Of that France that closed the ports even a year ago; which brutally rejects immigrants at the Ventimiglia border, without compassion even for children and pregnant women, and even allows himself to trespass with his gendarmes into Italian territory.
The hypocrisy of Macron and his party is flagrant. And their macroscopic double standard gives the character of this European Union, never supportive in times of need and which sees Italy as a country to be exploited, to humiliate, to buy.
That country, but, thanks to Salvini and the Lega government- 5 position, now he says no and raises his head with pride. He demands respect, does not accept lessons from Paris. And he won't go back. Read More

The data demonstrating the flows of Tunisian criminals in Italy

Of Gianandrea Gaiani
Many were offended in Tunisia by the words of the Minister of the Interior Matteo Salvini regarding the criminal nature of a large part of the illegal immigration arriving in Italy from the North African country. Yet Tunis has been speculating on its illegal immigrants since the late 1990s (many of whom were rejected and returned illicitly to…

Now the numbers certify it: migrants are just a cost

The numbers from the latest Itinerari Previdenziale report, created by the Alberto Brambilla study center: the healthcare costs for migrants weigh heavily
Of Claudio Cartaldo
The numbers speak clearly: i migrants I'm not a profit. Or at least they aren't the way they've always told us.
The fairy tale “they will pay our pensions“, however formally correct, in fact, it does not take into account other factors. Like medical expenses for immigrants (even irregular ones).
Let's go in order. According to the latest report from Social security itineraries, created by the Alberto Brambilla study center, it is true that the balance between contributions paid and pensions paid to migrants is positive. But we shouldn't stop there. “If you try to make an overall balance between income and expenses of the 2015 and the relative amounts for non-EU and new EU immigrants are added – we read in the report, as reported Libero – we get an estimate for contribution income which would amount to approx 9,5 billions of euros, of which the share is borne by workers is approx 2,6 billion. Tax revenues relating to salaries between 10 thousand and 12 thousand euros slightly exceed the Irpef exemption threshold, the estimated expenditure for pensions and income support benefits would be approximately 1,9 billions of euros, with a positive balance for the year of approximately 700 million euros”.
