Migrations: l'insopportabile ipocrisia dell'accoglienza

Migrations: the unbearable hypocrisy of hospitality

The current situation
Migrations constitute, together with the greenhouse effect and the economic crisis that began in 2007, the most serious problems of this period of human history. In the countries of departure they are caused by profound upheavals in the production structure, of social relationships and environmental conditions that prevent populations from continuing to obtain the necessary living in the places where they live, as their ancestors did for millennia. In the countries of arrival they generate three types of reactions: one of refusal, which takes the form of support for xenophobic parties;
a welcoming one interested in the contributions that migrants can make to the economic growth and monetary wealth of the natives; one of disinterested and generous welcome, based on solidarity towards the people most affected by life and on the drive for greater social justice. Xenophobic parties emphasize the problems created by the arrival of an ever-increasing number of migrants without professional and economic resources, highlighting the insecurity and degradation that inevitably generates in the places where they somehow camp and make do to survive. Supporters of self-interested hospitality downplay them, insisting on the economic advantages that would derive from their regularization: growth of gross domestic product, increase in tax revenue, payment of pensions. Supporters of disinterested welcome leverage the feelings of brotherhood that, they persist in the human soul despite decades of consumerism, materialism and selfishness that have characterized industrial societies. And they dedicate their energies, their intelligence, their creativity to seek solutions to help the migrants they come into contact with find decent housing and work. Hidden in the shadow cones between these dynamics, two categories of profiteers operate: those who speculate on the desperation of the weakest, exploiting their workforce in despicable ways, until they die; and those who, acting in the hidden depths of politics, they manage to get hold of the funds allocated for reception facilities, leaving only crumbs to the desperate people for whom they were intended.[1] Read More

Il Signore ha detto che vomiterà i "tiepidi", i.e. the medians…

THE OPINION

They all declined, at the same time they became useless: there is no one who does good, it is not until one. You see, Deus, you will lead them into the pit of destruction(Sal 52, 4; 54, 24).

«They have all gone astray, together they became useless: there is no one who does good, there isn't even one. Ma you, oh God, you will end them in an abyss of ruin". Whoever deviates from the right path of Catholic doctrine and practice not only makes himself useless and foolish, but he also runs the risk of falling into Hell with all those who follow him. But how is it possible that a large part of the Catholic hierarchy has failed in its task and is miserably adrift? There has to be an explanation. A purely chronological fact indicates that the current leaders of the Church were formed - coincidentally - after the Second Vatican Council. In a synthetic way, it can be said that in the last half century a theological education has been imposed, a liturgical form and pastoral practice that have assumed and incorporated contradiction, subjectivism and relativism, deforming the minds of the clerics and making them accustomed to them. The hypocrisy of chemical weapons

Of Robert Fish
The hypocrisy of chemical weapons

The hypocrisy of it all. These ignoble intentions. The carelessness. The shameful lies and excuses.
I'm not talking about the US president with hasty and impulsive tweets and his desires to escape police raids on his lawyer's office - obviously there is a connection with Russia.
And I'm not talking about his latest scandal. It's possible that life with Melania isn't going swimmingly at the moment. Better to talk about this than to sit with generals and ex-generals and seriously discuss Russia and Syria.
I'm not talking about Theresa May, who wants to avoid the Brexit discussion through every type of distraction possible: the Salisbury attacks, Douma -also Trump. So when the poor lady thought she had gotten the consent of the US President, Trump called Macron. What is all this nonsense? Read More

Dust of 5 position

by Paolo Becchi on Libero, 14/02/2018
That they were not Franciscans had been known to everyone for some time. That was just Gianroberto Casaleggio's ideal, that he actually led a Franciscan life: an old car, a very old cell phone, dress modestly, austere life. The grillini in parliament, Instead, they pretended to be, but they all took home an enviable salary. From what is emerging now, however, the problem is not that they were not Franciscans, but rather that they were downright dishonest.
Transfers made and then withdrawn to a fund, wanted by Casaleggio, for microcredit (fund intended to support small and medium-sized businesses): a colossal hole, still difficult to calculate. Estimates speak of 1,4 millions, and the Movement itself has admitted errors and incorrect and/or inflated calculations. In short, many transfers are fake, because they were published as reported by parliamentarians but immediately afterwards revoked. If this is the honesty that was supposed to come back into fashion...
In recent weeks, 250 thousand euros have been paid hastily (130 the parliamentarians 128 the Europeans, that they really don't earn). Five days ago the senator Carlo Martelli and the deputy Andrea Cecconi, both leaders "blocked" in the next elections, they were forced to leave, Senator Maurizio Buccarella in the meantime has self-suspended: «rimborsopoli» is overwhelming the entire Grillino parliamentary group. It remains to be clarified how and if David Borrelli's move to the mixed group in the European Parliament fits into this story, one of the three members of the Rousseau Association.
