Primo. What is the motive? What is the interest in Putin? Let me explain: everyone recognizes the Russian president's great sagacity in calibrating his moves. He excels in both strategy and tactics. In a recent article Paul Craig Roberts returns to talk about World War III, accusing Russia of being too cowardly towards aggressive US policy: in the desire to be recognized as part of the West, According to Roberts, Russia never gets the job done, but it always leaves a window open to the USA, hoping to curry favor with them, while effectively giving Washington another round to prevail in the conflict that Washington has started. The Russians, eager to show the West how friendly they are, they let Washington get a foot in the door in Syria, and Washington is using it to restart the war. Russian failure to finish the job has left Washington as foreign mercenaries, whom the American paid press passes off as "freedom fighters", in the Syrian enclave. For the war to start again, Washington must find a way to help its mercenaries.
The Trump regime has found it, or so he thinks, his justification for returning to the Obama regime's false accusation of Syria's use of chemical weapons. This lie, invented from scratch by the Obama regime, was silenced by Russia's intervention, who assured that there were no Syrian chemical weapons. Indeed, if memory serves us, Russia handed over chemical weapons to the US to be destroyed. There is little doubt that Washington still has them and will use some of them, with their Syrian markings, in what appears to be an imminent false flag attack for which Assad may be blamed. In other words, Washington will create a 'critical moment', he will blame Assad and Putin, and – with or without the authorization of Congress – the American intervention will begin on behalf of its mercenaries.
If we can believe James Mattis, the retired US Marine general who is Secretary of Defense, Syria, a country without chemical weapons and which does not need them in its combing operations against Washington's mercenaries, is using chlorine gas “against his own people”, exactly the same phrase used by the Obama regime when it attempted to orchestrate a justification for the attack in Syria. Mattis said he is receiving reports of Assad's use of chlorine gas, while at the same time claiming that there is no evidence of the use of gas, even less by the Syrian army.
The Secretary of Defense actually accused Syria of “targeting hospitals” with chlorine gas, although he admits there is no evidence. Mattis went on to accuse Russia of complicity in the killing of civilians, a feat at which the US excels. Read More

Why Italy should wage a cold war on Russia? One of the most worn refrains of international politics that can be read in the Italian press at the moment, after the obvious re-election of Putin to the Russian presidency and the Skripal case, it's called "Atlantic solidarity". But for Italy what does it consist of?? Military terms this: ours is the NATO country with the most American nuclear devices in Europe even if it does not manage them directly, beyond 70, of which 20 in the Ghedi base e 50 in Aviano. Among the warheads there are also thermonuclear bombs with the power of 50 kilotons whose presence constitutes the reason for a hypothetical preventive attack in the event of nuclear conflict.
If we then move on to politics, the so-called "Atlantic solidarity" has paradoxical aspects for Italy. US nukes in Italy, such as the bases or "facilities" of the American armed forces, they are almost always a taboo topic for Italian politicians, even for those who have just won the elections: it is never talked about because Washington's approval of a leader or a party remains a fundamental aspect. Sigonella's shadow, with the clash in 1985 between Craxi and Reagan's United States on the fate of the hijackers of the Achille Lauro ship, it remains as a sort of warning: sooner or later the bills with Washington will be paid. Nobody wants to disturb the NATO handler, (to which Donald Trump would like Europeans to contribute more). Even when the driver doesn't exactly have our interests in mind: the former chief of staff Vincenzo Camporini also said it some time ago when France, USA and Great Britain decided in 2011 to bomb Libya Gaddafi without even making a phone call. We remember that at the time Russia abstained on the UN resolution that started the bombings: “If we had not granted the Italian bases for their planes, the bombing operations would have been longer and more difficult”. So, is the general's reasoning, opposing it was technically possible, instead we also joined the raids with a decision essentially taken by the former head of state Giorgio Napolitano. As for Libya, Italy has seen very little of "Atlantic and European solidarity".: tens of billions lost, hundreds of thousands of refugees while the immigration issue was decisive in determining the new political framework.
