Ports closed for the Open Arms. Ong, Street, Boldrini: all against Salvini
Roma, 22 Dec – The tug of war between the Spanish NGO Open Arms and the deputy prime minister and minister of the interior Matteo Salvini also triggers the usual reactions from dissidents of the M5S (and of immigrationist left).
The leader of the League today he reiterated that our ports are closed to the Open Arms ship which he had asked to disembark in Italy approximately 300 illegal immigrants (after the usual refusal from Malta).

But the case of the NGO ship sparked (as well as those of Open Arms itself) the protest reactions of the opposition and dissident five-star members compared to the position of the yellow-green government on irregular immigration.

In short, for De Falco (and like him many five-star parliamentarians), the UN Global Compact on immigration should be signed, giving rise to the uncontrolled invasion.
For his part, Open Arms goes straight to insults against the deputy prime minister. “Matteo Salvini, your rhetoric and your message, how everything in this life will end. But know that in a few decades your descendants will be ashamed of what you do and say“, the founder of Open Arms said on Twitter, Oscar Camps.
“I saw that they put a curse on me… For me they are Christmas wishes. They don't get there in Italy anyway". It is the reply of the deputy prime minister in the Senate Transatlantic. “We don't want those who help smugglers in Italy. It's a Spanish ship, It has the Spanish flag. They will never arrive here in Italy“, reiterates the Minister of the Interior.
The pro-NGO chorus from Italian immigrationists was immediate, con Gino Strada Of Emergency which accuses the government: “The usual vulgarity, absence of humanity, the usual bullying in dealing with what are tragedies for other people".
The usual one is also inevitable Laura Boldrini: “I thank Open Arms for saving human lives in the Mediterranean, for having implemented the principle of the law of the sea, that those in danger must be saved. And I find it very disheartening that afterwards 6 months of yellow-green government there is no management of the migratory phenomenon except the ban on docking in Italian ports, when there are people on board who only deserve to be assisted and cared for".
In short, we are as usual: NGOs and indiscriminate pro-hospitality leftists attack the Italian government because it has closed the ports. And in Malta, which does exactly the same thing, no one says anything (apart from Salvini).
