If we wanted to say at the halfway point of the year in short what is the key to the malaise of our present, how could we outline it? It is the squaring of a vicious circle composed of fiscal oppression, tyranny of the market, loss of the border, permissive intolerance.
Let's try to explain ourselves starting from the simplest.
The State as a principle of unity above the parties and as a public spirit has no longer existed for a while. And the welfare state, as support and guarantee for peoples and citizens, was attacked, dried up and debased over the years, first through his obese welfare-type caricatures – which gave rise to statism and public parasitism – then through the dismantling, the shift of the axis from public to private, the liberal wave, universal precariousness and marketism.
However, the oppressive burden of taxation has grown on the State, either through record taxation that grows while public services decrease or burdens taxpayers with extraneous costs (first and foremost the migrants); both through punitive laws, control systems, extortion and harassment of local authorities or service providers. Even traffic fines are conceived with the excuse of road safety but they serve to feed the hungry municipal coffers.
The result is a new oppressive form of state, indeed a reverse statism, which reduces services but demands taxes, for Europe, to remedy the deficit, due to the advancing average age, for illegal immigrants to support.
It is an unprecedented form of "communism", on a tax basis. But a communism that marries the incursions of international capitalism, the franchises enjoyed by large multinationals, the social and economic structures dictated by the financial powers and their agencies.
This is the tyranny of the market, the reduction of the universe to a hypermarket or its periphery, the control of the masses through megasocial media and the social megamachine. The new invasive form of capitalism no longer requires "slaves" in the factory, workers and workers, but he exercises his dominion outside of work, in his free time, in communications, in consumption, it conveys and determines tastes and disgusts, colonizes desires, ways of life and reference models.
All this is based on an ethical element, anthropological, culturalwhich is changing our lives and which is obsessively repeated and claimed as a mission by everyone, by all those who have roles relevant to fame and power: just die, no more limits established by nature, from history, from territorial and state borders, but also by laws, costumes, traditions.

Upon closer inspection, these are antithetical couples: capitalism increases its power with technology and dependence on consumption and social media, but at the same time state oppression is fierce on the fiscal level, as a society guided by finance and economics demands.
