Reporting of Anna

In Syria the emergency continues!

And 6 years in Syria a terrible war destroys the lives of women, men, children and the elderly.
Bombings of homes and hospitals are the order of the day. The number of deaths, injured and displaced is dramatic and there is a desperately in need of medical attention.
Health facilities under attack, doctors killed, injured or fled the country, people who don't go to hospital for fear of being hit. Diseases that can be prevented or treated, now they lead to death. We are worried because of the intensification of the conflict most children have not been vaccinated and are at risk for diseases such as measles, rubella, tetanus or pneumonia.
Despite the limitations of access to the country, we treat war wounded and those who have suffered serious psychological trauma, we assist those suffering from chronic diseases and vaccinate children to prevent the spread of epidemics.
Help Doctors Without Borders intensify their efforts, sign the petition!

The economic background behind Skripal's poisoning.

Left Out, a podcast produced by Paul Sliker, Michael Palmieri and Dante Dallavalle, hosts in-depth conversations with the most interesting political thinkers and heterodox left-wing economists.
The Hudson Report is a new weekly series, with legendary economist Michael Hudson. In each episode we tackle an economic or political issue that has been ignored – or much debated – in the press that week.
In this episode we discuss the economic and political implications of the attempted assassination of former Russian double agent Sergei Skripal. We also mention the long history of collaboration between Russian oligarchs and Western banks, and how this fits into the broader neoliberal project pursued after the collapse of the Soviet Union.
Michael Palmieri: Professor Hudson, Welcome back to the third episode of The Hudson Report. It's a pleasure to have you here.
Michael Hudson: Thanks for the invitation.
Michael Palmieri: At that time, In the last week a lot has been read about the case of Sergei Skripal and his daughter. It is said that Russian intelligence attempted to poison him, he who was a double agent of British intelligence. Although much of the media has already condemned Russia, she has a different perspective. So could you explain to us what is happening? Read More

IMF and Italy

Of Nicola Di Cesare
IMF and Italy
Source: Appeal to the People
Based on the thinking of the managers of the International Monetary Fund, never asked by anyone (and that it has nothing to do with Italy except for the fact that our country finances it for 3,21 % of its shares), in order to revive the growth of its GDP, Italy should eliminate the fourteenth salary from all employment contracts, eliminate the thirteenth of pensions, de facto eliminate survivor's pensions and raise the rate to 27% for self-employed workers, reintroduce the IMU on the first home. The first question that a reader of average intellect should ask himself is:: but who are they and why would they want to starve millions of Italians? What they gain from it? Before delving into the merits of these statements and formulating answers to the aforementioned questions, Let's first understand what it is for and who is in command of the IMF. According to the article 1 of the Statute (establishing agreement between states) the IMF was created for: promote international monetary cooperation; facilitate expansion and international trade; promote the monetary stability of currencies and the constancy of exchange rates, avoiding competitive devaluations; provide loans, behind adequate guarantees (political and institutional interference), through the general fund resources to address balance of payments difficulties; reduce the degree of imbalance in the balance of payments of member states by preventing them from resorting to measures to devalue their currency; regulate economic growth in developing countries. Now Gentiloni will make many apologies to Putin?

Now Gentiloni will make many apologies to Putin?

Source: Maurizio Blondet
The accusation of the May government in Moscow, of having poisoned the former spy Skripal and his daughter, it's crumbling. Revealing itself for what it is: a huge state "fake news"., and maybe a false flag unsuccessful. Yesterday the news that the director of Porton Down (the British military laboratories for chemical-bacteriological weapons) he admitted: we don't have proof that the Novichock used (or that it would be used) against Skripal is of Russian origin.
The point is that the British Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson he had assured, in a tweet from 22 March and immediately spread throughout the world, that “analyses conducted at the Porton Down War Science and Technology laboratory by world-class experts they found out that it is the military nerve agent Novichok produced in Russia”. In short, the government had committed the word of its world-famous scientists without having consulted them, and before they conducted the investigation.

A triumph beyond expectations is looming for the Conservative Party which could have two thirds of the seats. And it scares Europe
