The embryos were probably reused. The discovery due to an invoice sent twelve years after an in vitro fertilization.
In the 2004 Marisa Cloutier-Bristol and her husband had gone to a fertility clinic to secure one pregnancy and starting a family. They had had some problems and the facility had guaranteed the production of at least one embryo. In fact, he gave life to four embryos.
The problem is that the “doctors” told her that none of them were usable. The woman and her husband returned home, saddened by not being able to have their child. And if the practice is already questionable, what happened next borders on the limits of the absurd.
Meanwhile the couple, after much effort, she managed to have a child. But they both would have wanted many more. Suddenly, but, the woman's husband died. The woman remarried. And after a few months, at the clinic, suddenly, contacted her, saying that there was one of his embryos preserved in the "freezer".
The woman was dumbfounded: she was told her embryos were unusable. And instead, after fifteen years, he discovered that one was still there. Except she couldn't "use" him anymore: not only the woman has passed the 40 years, but since the husband is deceased it is not possible to implant it in her womb because "there would be no consent".
«It's like mourning a dead child. I feel completely and utterly robbed.", the woman said, who sued the clinic to understand what happened to the other embryos. Since the clinic lends itself to surrogacy, the suspicion is that the woman's embryos were used clandestinely for this purpose.
It's yet another damage to the uterus-for-hire business: the embryos of a natural family, traditional, they ended up who knows where for a large fee. And now what remains is only a deep pain.

Some interesting and intelligent comments to my recent article, for which I thank the authors from now on, they give me the opportunity to delve deeper into some aspects, by force of circumstances, I had to leave it out in that context. The main criticism of the piece is not about, upon closer inspection, the now imminent centrality of a new universal Mediterranean mission, nor the soon-to-be new Han-led social-Confucian anti-liberal global order, but the role that political Islam plays and would play in this context.
At this point a very brief historical-cultural introduction is necessary. The most advanced historiography, like a certain "idealistic" Germanic and Italian philosophy, sees an authentic "metaphysical-cultural" degree in the thought model based on war strategy, superior to both the scientific and economic ones. About that, Samuel Huntington's perspective itself seems very clear to me.

People didn't listen to his words, requesting some miracle from him to confirm his mission by divine mandate. Muhammad replied that he was sent by God not to perform miracles, but only to preach the truth. With all this, the impostor, in his Alcorano, boasts of having performed a miracle, but very ridiculous; saying that, «a piece of the moon having fallen (…), he had been able to put it together: and therefore the empire of the Mohammedans has the feat of the half moon». Life and family: here is the new ideological polarization
It sometimes happens that the more vehement and extreme the reactions to a cultural and political phenomenon, the more they reveal how much that phenomenon is touching very sensitive nerves and deep layers of a society.. Fatima Zahra, head of the Association tells it like this: “We are a group of young guys who we would like to help, from the human point of view, cultural and social, in a supportive manner, non-profit, people who find themselves having to undergo treatment in a hospital setting and who need moral and/or material support. One of our goals is to encourage, with our initiatives, the integration of these individuals within society and thus exclude any form of discrimination and rejection.
