The champions of the faith: don Paolo De Töth
On the day of Saint Thomas Aquinas 1881 Don Paolo De Töth was born in Udine (he died in Maiano, fraction of Fiesole, il 25/12/1965), one of the main exponents of integral Catholicism, founder and director of the anti-modernist magazine “Fede e Ragione”. On the centenary of the founding of the magazine, The “Don Paolo De Töth” Study Center was born, which we are pleased to present through the association's website.
Who we are
Analogously to similar initiatives (he C.S.. Giuseppe Federici in Rimini, he C. S. Davide Albertario in MiIano and C. S. Giacomo Margotti in Turin), and in collaboration with the “Mater Boni Consilii” Institute, the “Don Paolo De Töth” Study Center was born from inspiration, already from the name, to this authentically and integrally Catholic priest: certainly one of the main exponents of the so-called "Integral Catholics" who fought Modernism all his life, unmasking it and attacking it in all its implications in the various areas of religious and civil life, aware that this is heresy (or better, 'heap of all heresies' according to the famous definition that Saint Pius. Feeding), it could not be underestimated or even considered surpassed, as unfortunately the vast majority of Catholics of the time believed it, thus allowing it to survive and spread everywhere.
