"Il Parlamento indaghi sulle stragi del boia Tito"

The exiles' proposal to the Chamber: «We start from Vergarolla, first massacre in republican history"
A parliamentary commission of inquiry to shed light on the crimes committed by Tito's executioners. Starting with the Vergarolla massacre, which caused the Italians to flee from Pola del 1947.
The request of the Federation of Exiles was sent in recent days to the secretary of the Foreign Affairs Commission of the Chamber, Vito Comencini, on the eve of 10 February, day of remembrance of the exodus and the foibe. But all parties will be involved.
The objective is «the establishment of a parliamentary commission for the Vergarolla massacre and the crimes committed on the eastern border». The text sent to Comencini recalls that the «Republic was born with a profound vulnerability (wound, ndr) () in the provinces of Trieste, Gorizia, by, Rijeka and Zadar. () The Tito occupation marked mournful pages for the Italian community". The proposal underlines how «the Yugoslav national liberation war had taken on annexationist characteristics and the opponents of the project had to be eliminated». And we remember the "forty days of occupation" after the war was over, in May-June 1945, of cities like Trieste in addition to the deportations of 600 Italians from Gorizia. The foibe massacres began in Istria in 1943, after the emptiness of September 8th and continue after the war is over. «It wasn't just about fascists or collaborators, but also of anti-fascists, democrats and patriots who, after fighting in the Liberation, they opposed the aims of the communist regime in Belgrade" we read in the text.

A film already seen

FIFTH COLUMN

by Marcello Veneziani

SMS is the code name of Left Magistrates Press, the transversal snake that tells us what we should think, who should we condemn and how should we be indignant. The SMS tells us every day that we are living under the worst possible regime, at the worst possible time, under the heel of a criminal in uniform named Matteo Salvini which must be processed immediately. But I feel like I've already seen this horror film. And so I went back in my memory to the beginning of the present decade. The scene was totally different, the protagonists as well.
The worst possible regime in that terrible time was the center-right and the criminal's heel, with heel lift, was that of Silvio Berlusconi. The alarm was no different, the persistence, hatred for another democratic emergency, another “unprecedented” situation. Even then we lived in “a South American dictatorship”, populist and rascal, we were outside of Europe even then, from Modernity and Democracy, and naturally outside the law. Read More

Love God more than your brother

FIFTH COLUMN

by Marcello Veneziani

If you are nostalgic for the gods, go and see The First King, a great film about Romulus, Remus and the birth of Rome under divine fire. Usually if you go to the cinema to see a historical film, you find the usual refrain: the past is adapted to today, updated and ideological, they speak of Aeneas as an illegal migrant, Spartacus as a Landini of antiquity, history is reviewed with the smallest meter of the present: see budding feminists, liberated homosexuals, unionized slaves and always good and generous blacks. Evil is represented as the fascism of the ancients, the enemy is a Nazi ante litteram.
If instead you think that ancient history should be represented in all its glorious and bloody distance from the present, The First King is the masterpiece you've been waiting for. Cinema is the workshop of myth in our times and the First King expresses it fully, without sugarcoating the harshness of the past. In the film you can already feel the respect for the almost three thousand years that separate us from the time in which the Eternal City was founded in the choice of the Proto-Latin language. The presence of the sacred, of the elementary forces of nature, the impetuosity of the primary bonds for life and death, the strength of command and the fear of God, the ritual importance of sacrifice, of blood and fire, submission to the verdicts of fate, the aura and the mystery, they are the horizon in which this extraordinary representation of brotherly love develops, very powerful, which turns into fratricide by divine will. Alain De Benoist's thoughts on current anti-racism

Current anti-racism actually has only two real functions: the first is disarm any criticism of immigration. Anti-racist rhetoric, just as we listen to it every day, supported by the media and lobbies, It basically aims to make people believe that all criticism of immigration is inspired by "racism". Anyone who criticizes immigration is accused of racism, anyone who wants to demonstrate "anti-racism" must on the contrary speak in favor of the suppression of borders (what could be defined as “Fetishism of Openness” (….)

The second raison d'être of "anti-racism" is to conceal adherence to the capitalist system which in recent decades has characterized an entire generation of "repentants". Anti-racism has replaced anti-capitalism how the fight against all discrimination has replaced the class struggle. “Discriminations” of ontological origin are denounced all the more (sexism, racism, religious fanaticism) as we adapt very well to the very concrete economic and social inequalities due to the exploitation of living labor by the logic of profit. Anti-racism works from this point of view as a screen for adhesion to the system
