A historic result for the coalition, which only in the last year has practically won all competitions regional events that took place. But there's more. The center-right had never won the presidency of Basilicata, a region that has always been considered an impregnable fiefdom of the left.
Tonight, however, the "miracle" happened and Silvio Berlusconi - promoter of Bardi's candidacy - has already toasted with his family in Potenza.
Specifically, the center-right candidate would have won the 42% of preferences, while the aspiring governor of the center-left Carlo Trerotola remained stationary at 32%. The Movement's candidate is bad 5 place Antonio Mattia, detached from 20%. Fourth place for Valerio Tramutoli, expression of left-wing formations.
A real one is shaping up between the parties boom of the League and a collapse of the Democratic Party. But the counting is still underway, approximately one hundred sections are missing. To know the definitive results we will have to wait a few more hours.
