Russia, Putin announces success of the final test of the Sarmat rocket

Today, during a meeting in the Kremlin with ministers and other senior state officials, Russian President Vladimir Putin has announced that the final test of the new Sarmat intercontinental ballistic missile has been successful. The Russian media reported it.

“The final test of the Sarmat missile was successful. The Kinzhal complex and the Peresvet laser system entered service”, Putin said.

He also noted that the Avagangard hypersonic missile has significantly strengthened the capabilities of the Russian Strategic Missile Forces.
