As part of the restoration of a funeral chapel, was arranged the installation of a motorized sheeting mechanism, to hide any residue of Christianity if necessaryand do not offend other religious beliefs.
An absurd situation that has caused some centre-right politicians to rise up. Among these also Galeazzo Bignami, Forza Italia MP: “In order not to disrespect other religions, the victims offend Christian values ​​and even more so the memory of our dead by hiding them behind 'motorized curtains' in a cemetery so as not to offend other religions. If these administrators are ashamed of our tradition and our culture, they should go and hide themselves and not just behind a motorized curtain. If they are not capable of showing respect for the living, at least they have the decency to leave the dead alone and not involve them in pre-election nonsense".
