Given that, as far as the questioners know:
in recent weeks, on the daily newspaper “The Press” of Turin and, afterwards, in other newspapers and blogs on the internet, as well as in the main social networks, the news relating to a surgeon caused a sensation, dottoressa Silvana De Mari, That, in reference to certain sexual practices also in use among people with homosexual tendencies, with regards to gays, he claimed abscesses, incontinence, herpes and warts are the consequence of such practices, with frightening consequences from a physical point of view, which excludes the possibility that this could be a form of normality;
afterwards, numerous articles followed in the press and Dr. De Mari was interviewed several times, also in radio broadcasts, which “The Mosquito” your Radio 24, in which he confirmed his theses;
an online petition was even launched via the awareness campaign site “change.org”, which reached thousands of signatures delivered to the Turin medical association, asking for the doctor's radiation. As, pure, it would appear that other emails or requests have been received in a similar sense to the Turin medical association from third parties;
some pro-LGBT organizations announced complaints against him;
in data 18 January 2017, appeared in the newspaper “The Press” online by Alessandro Mondo, an article with the following title: «The homophobic doctor risks radiation The president of the order: “Medicine is something else”. Disciplinary proceedings opened";
in the body of the text, we read that the president of the medical association himself announced it, Dr. Guido Giustetto, which, according to the quotes in the article, so he would have declared: «Personally those of the doctor, that I don't know, I consider them as statements that do not correspond to what medicine thinks today. After all, she recognizes it too, claiming not to be politically correct. Let's say that his position is not within the scope of scientific knowledge";
the president continues by stating, always according to newspaper references, that «We will open disciplinary proceedings, summoning her and asking for explanations, explains Giustetto; the world is full of doctors who say strange things". We are interested in this to the extent that it can create problems for public health and put the medical profession in a bad light. Besides, and this worries us, she puts particular weight on her profession". In short - that's what the article says – clear distancing and at the same time standing on lead while waiting to decide how to behave: «At this stage we need to understand more»;
on point, it should be underlined that the statements made by Dr. De Mari on proctological damage and infectious risks are certain statements and scientifically documented by anatomopathological and statistical data;
it is therefore not understandable what Doctor Giustetto is referring to with the expression “does not correspond to what medicine thinks today”, since it only appears to be the medicine “you think”, and that, Anyway, the “current medicine” have a new vision of the anatomy of parts of the digestive system, and also placed, that all scientific literature on the subject of proctology and infectious disease without any exception, presents males with homosexual tendencies as a risk category for an enormous number of proctological and infectious diseases;
similar considerations can naturally also be made towards heterosexual couples who engage in this practice,
he demands to know:
if the Minister in address deems it normal that, faced with specific legislation on the topic, relating to disciplinary procedures for doctors (see the decree of the President of the Republic 5 April 1950, n. 221, art. 39), the president of the medical association, which he will have to examine and then, possibly, judge the position of the accused person, make statements to the newspapers such as those appearing in the newspaper “The Press” of the 18 January 2017 and never denied, all before such a procedure has even begun and in spite of a bombastic title: “the Medical Association initiates disciplinary proceedings” (this too has never been denied);
if you deem it appropriate, for what has been said, the president of the medical association who will have to judge Dr. De Mari should advance his own opinions in the press “evaluations” on the case;
as to the merits of the matter, and to the specific statements made by the president of the medical association, whether you think it is correct for him to make statements, despite the statements made by Dr. De Mari, come: “I consider the doctor's statements to be statements that do not correspond to what medicine thinks today” and then what “its position is not within the scope of scientific knowledge” and finally that “the world is full of doctors who say strange things”;
more specifically, How does the Minister evaluate the conformity between the statements made by Dr. De Mari and current medical-scientific knowledge and whether he believes that the practices described by Dr. De Mari can lead to contracting the pathologies illustrated previously;
finally, whether he wishes to inform Parliament whether he is aware of all the circumstances set out and whether he intends to intervene, and with what means or initiatives, at the college of the medical order of Turin, arranging, even if appropriate, a formal ministerial inspection;
if you intend to recall the doctors' orders, so that they stick to their primary function, which is the care of people and correct information on diseases and their possible prevention.
