The building of the former State Mint in Rome? Now it is run by the Chinese. Raul Gardini's palace in Ravenna? Now it is run by the Chinese. The Doge's Ball Palace in Venice? Now it is run by the Chinese. The Roma bar in Carpi, the one where Dorando Pietri worked, legendary marathon hero collapsed one step away from the finish line? Now it is run by the Chinese.
And they became Chinese, among others, the Goldoni tractor company in Carpi, the one that effectively mechanized the Italian countryside; the historic Quarella marble company from Verona, Masterwood from Rimini, the Motovario metalworking company of Formigine and the Odeon cinema chain&Uci. Where at this point, a crime film could be staged. Which however is very similar to a horror film.
In fact, there are not only famous cases, bounced prominently in the newspapers, like those of Ferretti yachts, of the Krizia fashion house, of Pirelli, of Inter or Candy appliances: Beijing's shadow is stretching across our entire country. It happens day after day, brick by brick, neighborhood after neighborhood, factory after factory. After all, we know that China has set out to conquer the world. President Xi Jinping, defined by the Economist as the most powerful man on the planet, has launched a massive plan to promote acquisitions on five continents.
And Italy is a special observation. Of our country, the Ming grandchildren love everything: the singing, the music, fashion, the Staircase. And they can't wait to conquer us. A fine 2017 they flew the Chinese flag 641 Italian companies, with beyond 32 thousand employees and a turnover of approximately 18 billion a year. And the conquest, in general silence, it doesn't stop.
The Emarc, Turin company that produces components for the most important car manufacturers? It passed to the Chinese. The Esaote, leader in the biomedical equipment sector? It passed to the Chinese. Moto Morini of Pavia? Idem. And so are Newchem and Effechem, Milanese specialists in pharmaceuticals, o Cmd, which produces turbodiesel marine engines, in three factories in Campania. One of the most beautiful buildings in Rome also passed to the Chinese, overlooking the steps of Trinità dei Monti. He bought it, together with others 11 accommodation facilities throughout Italy, Mister Hu's Ih group. Now they own seven up 17, including the Macrolotto Luxury, pagoda shaped, and the Palace, which has long been a catwalk for politicians.
