I thought it was a fake, a gag, a caricature made against the PD, of the left and the secular. Instead, the national representative of the Democratic Party takes it seriously and favorably, in Paolo Del Debbio's television program, underlining that these are “removable” tendons. I can't believe it.
I'm afraid an immovable curtain, lasts like a cataract of dementia, has descended to darken those minds. Let's try to reason even in the presence of unreason. A civilization that has existed for centuries, for millennia, follows religious rites, adopts religious symbols, lives among signs of Christianity everywhere (he asked, squares, hospitals, schools, civic buildings, municipal cemeteries, ecc.), at a certain point he should hide his symbols so as not to disturb those who do not believe. Given that everyone is free to believe or not, but what a nuisance, what a shock, what problem can a Christian symbol cause to those who are not Christian? If it doesn't attach any meaning to those symbols, they are declassified to pure funeral decor, what torment or affront he suffers? What suffering can he have if he was born and raised in a country, in a civilization, in a story, in which those symbols are and remain prevalent over the centuries? I understand that at Notre-Dame the brave Micron, Macron's more realistic surname, you forget the "business name" of the cathedral and treat it as a secular monument, state and republican. I understand that Christians for Obama and Clinton are reduced to a primitive sect of "Easter worshippers". But with the AntiChrist curtains we have reached Perfect Idiocy, unattainable, that secularists and anti-Christians all over the world will envy us, from Sri Lanka to Canada, to touch all the degrees of the rainbow.
And if anyone on the left will dissociate themselves from this idea, as I have not heard so far, the underlying problem remains: there is a rejection of civilization, waste in the form of vomit, of delirium, of hate, towards everything that reminds us of our history, our faith, our culture. Being ashamed of our symbols and roots, that's the problem, beyond the altered skin of these crazy positions. And the sad consolation would be that these things only happen in Italy where the appearance is grotesque, comic, theatrical and surreal, it has always had a special space. But no, Unfortunately, beyond these episodes of folklore and paranoia, the rejection of our Christian civilization it is radical and fits into the broader rejection of history, of nature, as well as the supernatural. And it is part of a trend that attacks family and birth with equal fanaticism, human nature and community bonds, national sovereignty and love of country, almost to demonstrate that the real battle is underway, centuries pass but it is one: against God, homeland and family, however defined. A set that is graphically represented by another exponent of the left as a "shitty life": an analysis should be carried out to find the occult feces that are hidden in their heads.
This delirium of civilization creates in the big belly of our cities, of our nations, of our global villages, an embarrassing sense of schizophrenia, of delirium, of removal, of parricide and matricide, that makes us live like strangers, by illegal immigrants without a residence permit, between our homes, our historic centers, places of worship, the symbols which are the elementary alphabet in which we grew up and in which we recognize our family lexicon. And at the extreme or external wings this delirium of civilization motivates, justifies the persecution of Christians around the world, massacres like that of Columbus, hatred towards those who display a crucifix and not in an Islamic country but in Rome in the millenary heart of Christian civilization, Catholic, apostolic, romana. Or on the contrary, it justifies the delirium of some "white supremacist" who claims to respond to hatred with hatred, to the blood with the blood, and makes a massacre. But this is what happens when hatred and madness are given free reign.
In the daily catalog of showcase intellectuals, in the book with their images, their homilies, I can't find a single word to criticize this Militant Imbecility, not an analysis other than the usual insults against Salvini, the fascists, the sovereignists. On the contrary, in the few attempts to justify to the world, the existence of God, a theologian who continues as a private practitioner, like Vito Mancuso, he defines God with the features of a partisan: God is anti-fascist, said the beautiful soul, quoting Don Gallo. God is not in the heavens but in the square, possibly in Piazzale Loreto, and not as a martyr. God is not celebrated at Christmas or Easter, when Jesus Christ is born or reborn, my he 25 April.
Una boutade, right, I can't believe it's being said seriously, but if God is anti-fascist, and no one objects, then it is normal for curtains to be used to hide the cross. Why not bifocal glasses that darken at the sight of a Christian symbol? Why not reclining crosses like seats, which are lowered as secular processions pass or can be pulled out like beds from sofas? There is life on planet Italy, in the Europa galaxy, in the solar system humanity, who rebels against this accelerated course of barbarism and dementia?
