According to news that bounced on social media, and a video in which the protagonist confirms the fact, Lilianne Ploumen would receive the knight medal of the Pontifical Order of Saint Gregory the Great.

Ploumen served as director of programs at Cordaid, a Dutch Catholic aid agency from 2004 al 2007, which was accused of providing funds to Planned Parenthood, the American multinational abortion company, and provide contraceptives.
In September 2017 Ploumen was part of the UN LGBTI core group. In February 2010 had incited LGBT activists to intervene and disrupt a mass in the cathedral of St. John the Baptist, carrying pink triangles and signs reading “Jesus excludes no one”. She was against the Church's moral teaching on homosexuality.
The equestrian order of Saint Gregory was established in September 1831, and is awarded to individuals for their personal service to the Holy See and the Roman Catholic Church, through unusual effort, their support for the Holy See and their excellent examples offered in their communities and countries.
