Traini exercised his right not to respond. The 28 year old, as the lawyer said, Giancarlo Giulianelli, he made spontaneous statements before the prosecutor. “My goal – Traini reported to the prosecutor – they were the blacks who deal drugs in Macerata”.
Then immediately after the interrogation the lawyer also spoke and explained what the connection is between the news of Pamela Mastropietro's death and Traini's gesture: “This was the trigger for his gesture – confirmed the lawyer Giulianelli – the desire to oppose this”. The boy therefore apparently chose to shoot immediately after hearing the news of the girl's death. Then in the interrogation there is also room for some reflection, as the lawyer himself reports: “For injuring the woman – added Giulianelli – he apologized. Just as the shots towards the pastry shop were an accident”. The lawyer finally stated that “Traini feels good at the moment and feels at home”. However, the 28-year-old did not show regret for what happened before the judges.
