The Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán launched his party's election campaign for the European Parliament, and describes the next competition as a continental clash between open borders and sovereignists. “Europe will remain European or we will give way to the masses coming from other cultures?” he underlined Viktor Orbán: “Elections will determine whether we will decide to protect our European Christian culture or give way to multiculturalism”.
Voting in the European elections will take the form of a relatively direct choice in all EU member states, in the opinion of Prime Minister Orbán, which falls “among EU leaders of pro-immigration parties or those who oppose immigration”. The Hungarian leader made it clear which side of the fence he sat on, building an alliance with the Italian deputy prime minister and interior minister Matteo Salvini, whose party could become the first in the European Parliament.
“The Hungarians, who protected Europe for a thousand years, they want the EU, but we are fed up with the way things are going in Brussels”, Orbán added.

Orbán: “The challenge between us and the globalists”

In an interview given last week, the Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán stressed that Hungary has been a part of Europe for 1.000 years and that Budapest's critics within the European Union are upset because Hungary's constitution states that the country has "Christian roots", rejects “multiculturalism”, that every child has the “right to a mother and father” and that the country has the right to “defend its borders”, especially against the Islamist threat.
Regarding criticism from Brussels, Orbán noted: “I'm not worried about the Brussels trials. My grandmother taught me to be humble in adversity. I have to endure all this. I can't do anything except put myself in God's hands.".
