The patriots, the party of Davos, the Judeo-Christian roots to defend, the tradition of Athens and Rome against the elites who produce zombies: It is a well-known but still effective repertoire that Donald Trump's former strategist brings to Atreju, the celebration of the Brothers of Italy.
To welcome him, under a tent named after Charlemagne (followed by the one that bears the name of the king of Sparta, Leonidas) around three hundred ecstatic militants, who jump up to applaud whenever the 'guru’ pronounce the word 'patriots'.
A broad term that includes Bannon himself (“I served my country in the Gulf and the Indian Ocean”) but also Putin, Farage, Salvini and Meloni, all those who oppose the Davos party, that of the economic elites who aim to create one in the West “zombie nation, like in China”.

And to which Giorgia Meloni will ask today to also enroll Fratelli d'Italia. On the contrary, ‘Brothers of Italy’, to put it in Bannon's words.
