I'll explain the real carnage for the Italian banking system

In the my last contribution to Radio Me too you will have heard me claim to have noticed the problems of the banks a little before those who are now tearing their clothes (the “spread predictions”, as @lemasabachtani calls them on Twitter).
This applies to bail-in (That I reported to my readers shortly before its approval) and it applies to a pre-existing problem, bank bad debts (which you also see called NPL: non-performing loans), whose growth is due to austerity, today recognized by the Abi and by other posthumous mainstream priests, it was foreseen by me in first of many QEDs on the blog.
Appreciate the honesty of the web, which allows those who have seen before (predicted) to prove it, putting those who had the obligation to be foresighted and vigilant faced with the shame of their own non-compliance: if a "provincial professor" like me came along, because there were no institutions with prestigious study centers and analysts? The warm autumn, the spread and the objective of bringing down the Government

Naturally, there are a series of pressures for the Five Star Movement to break with the League, most feared – at least today – by the heuristic elites, both for his tough positions on immigration and for his evident euroscepticism. After all, it was precisely the League that insisted that Paolo Savona go to the MES. And it's no coincidence that, head of the budget committees of the House and Senate, there are two exceptional Eurosceptics: Claudio Borghi and Alberto Bagnai. In short, this Government is the furthest thing that exists from the religious heurism that has governed us in the last twenty years (the worst of which is certainly the one suffered in the last part of the last Berlusconi legislature and in the previous legislature).

Precisely for this reason, many are rooting for the break between M5S and Lega, dreaming of a turnaround, with a reworked M5S that is more accommodating towards heuristic policies. The reasons - it is reiterated - are the attitude of total closure towards mass migratory flows from the African continent and Euroscepticism. Both put a spoke in the wheels of the project of wage deflation and the dissolution of nation states, in favor of the pro-European superstructure. So here they are waving the racist and nationalist scare, to try to induce public opinion to believe that the path taken by the current Government of confrontation with the European Union is the worst and most dangerous for the destinies of the Italian people. Checkmate the news wizards

Checkmate the news wizards

The contemporary world is characterized by a heated debate on the role and future of information: information always seen as an instrumental component of modernity, given that diatribes such as the one that arose over so-called fake news were essentially focused on their consequences for electoral purposes. The information is, in any case, a battlefield where each contender is interested in putting their most refined strategies into play; a very often overlooked role is the one played, in this context, by spin doctors, communication experts linked to political power who, moving in the shadow line between institutional and personal communication of leaders, exercise a decisive weight in the orientation of public opinion. Freedom is not free, nor politics

Before diving into reading the DEF, of which I should be rapporteur in the Special Commission […] I would like to remind one thing to all those whom this blog has taught to read reality with different eyes, to connect the dots into a coherent picture.
If you can listen today these words, o these words, that is, if you can feel represented in our institutions, if you can hope that words will be followed by deeds, if you have a reasonable and well-founded hope that our country will regain awareness of its dignity, and that institutions return to thinking in terms of national interest and not magical thinking, if this happened, you certainly owe it to Claudio's tenacity [Villages] and mine, to our willingness to fight for our country, for ours (that is, yours too) interest: this, naturally, it was a necessary condition.
However, it wouldn't have been enough.
So that these good ideas, although not particularly original, On the contrary, I would say: good precisely because they are not particularly original, to the limit of the tautological (an unsustainable monetary arrangement is unsustainable, Procyclical fiscal rules are procyclical), so that these ideas, I said, could be transformed into political practice, could reach the Palace, another junction was essential. The real turning point was the listening that Matteo Salvini gave to our message. What allows you to see yourselves represented in the Senate and the Chamber today was the intellectual humility and openness of spirit with which Salvini accepted, unlike everyone (that is, everyone) the other Italian politicians, to confront an alternative vision of the world. I add that even this would not have been enough.

Here we are: the EU creates a network of censors. Freedom of opinion is in danger!

The European Union and the United States have been preparing the ground for a year and a half. And now here we are: Soon we will have a network of fact-checkers, naturally independent, naturally abiding by a rigorous code of ethics and naturally dedicated to the supreme cause: the fight against fake news or the monster that shakes the establishment's sleep.
All this, actually, as I have been saying for some time, it has only one purpose: legitimize the introduction of censorship, limit the impact and spread of non-mainstream ideas, naturally denying that it is censorship. But so it will be: there is no true democracy when someone claims the right to decide what is true and what is false, and making it inviolable and sacred, what is actually a very dangerous form of strabismus, because it only points to part of the problem, fake news spread by social media, and the real scandal is ignored, which is represented by the manipulation of news created within governments, whose impact is infinitely greater. Any lie about Syria, on Ukraine, on Greece remains rigorously unpunished, as long as it originates within an institution, precisely those institutions that now demand, for our good, to limit the boundaries of freedom of expression.
The European Union yesterday took another fateful step, announcing measures, “preparatory”, waiting for further "fine-tuning", already announced for December. The setting is soft, so as not to alarm the masses and in fact few media talked about it; the outcome, but, it's a given. It cannot be otherwise when it is announced, as did the EU Security Commissioner Julian King who

The manipulation of public opinion through fake news is a real threat to the stability and cohesion of our European societies

announcing

the creation before the summer of an independent European network of fact-checkers and in September of a European platform on disinformation to help them in their work. Furthermore, Brussels will launch a new call this year for the production and dissemination of quality information on the EU through data-driven news..

Already, but what checks? What data? Those certified by Macron or the US State Department who decided to bomb Syria without evidence, only on the basis of news reported by the media and social media? Those issued by NGOs which, although presenting themselves as non-governmental, are actually financed by Western governments, becoming a disguised but very effective tool in the context of modern asymmetric wars?
King also launched social media measures from Facebook and Twitter, just as Zuckerberg, to the European Parliament, he announced the creation of a small army of twenty thousand guardians to guarantee the fairness of the "2019 European elections" that is, to take away the lifeblood and visibility of sovereignist ideas and movements that are critical of the EU. Therefore to limit freedom of opinion from above, as happens only in authoritarian regimes.
Unfortunately, the scenario we outlined by Alberto Bagnai is confirmed, Vladimiro Giacché and myself, during the very crowded conference which took place last Saturday in Rome, organized by The dissident intellectual and by the association a/symmetries. A conference that aroused the enthusiasm of those present and which you can follow thanks to Byoblu by Claudio Messora, who filmed it.
The looming battle for truly free information will be tough, very hard. And we will need it, like never before, of your support.
Here is the video, good vision:
