Honor to the militants

Just read my first explicitly political article, that of 2011, where I defined the League as a "vulgar and nationalist right", totally adhering to the cliché that the media, of which I also knew the intrinsically fraudulent nature, they proposed to me. In my defense I can say that that League was still the Northern League, animated by secessionist tensions, the League that had in Italy the attitude that Germany has in Europe: we are better and screw the others. This attitude has changed, and Matteo Salvini apologized to the rest of the country, opening a new season. I understand the mistrust, I understand the wounds that are difficult to heal, I don't want to judge. That League, but, despite its limitations (if he decided to change, it means that he perceived being a regional party as a limitation), he was building the structure that then allowed Claudio and me to take political action.
Since then I have also studied a lot, putting aside the wisdom of the left-wing intellectual who knows he knows, understanding that nations are not so bad when you consider the alternative, and that progressivism is not a good idea if there is an abyss in front of you. But beyond the evolution of my thinking, that happened here, with you, which you all witnessed and participated in, it remains a fact: those people I judged disparagingly were working for me, even if I didn't know it, and no one could know.
I'm a soldier
