A 200 years after Mary Shelley's masterpiece, genetic engineering realizes Doctor Frankenstein's nightmare. Life reduced to the product of technology impoverishes relationships and creates loneliness. And without father or mother the individual increasingly resembles a mummy.
Man not born of a woman but built in a laboratory turns two hundred years old.
A lady from the most cultured and restless English society of the 19th century recounted its birth and dramatic life: Mary Shelley, wife of the poet Percy Bysshe Shelley and daughter of the feminist writer Mary Wollstonecraft and William Godwin, liberal philosopher.
Like many surprising insights and discoveries, the idea matured thanks to boredom and not knowing what to do. Mary was with her husband Percy and her half-sister Claire,
guest in a villa on Lake Geneva of his friend Lord George Byron, famous poet, together with Byron's doctor John Polidori. He kept company
Pellegrino Rossi from Carrara leaves, He too, like Byron and Shelley, was a passionate supporter of “sovereignists” of the time: the liberation movements from supranational empires, now in the process of decomposition. Read More

"Dio, Verona e Famiglia", this is the identity stronghold

Image results for no genderThe motion of censure against Zelger turns into a mild sop to the minorities to be able to go back to talking about serious things regarding the problems of Verona
Of Lucia Rezzonico
A Verona, the minorities also recorded a resounding defeat during last night's City Council meeting, who should have voted unanimously on a motion of censure for the words, definite “homophobic” of the Northern League member Alberto Zelger, Conservative Catholic, released to radio broadcast “The Mosquito”.
Not only has the document been withdrawn, but after a good two hours of discussion between the group leaders, followed by a very calm declaration from the interested party, who apologized if anyone felt offended by his words because it was not his intention to offend, without retracting anything of what he said and asking that the motion of censure be withdrawn. Which even happened.
E’ past, without the presence of the Mayor Federico Sboarina, by Alberto Zelger himself and Andrea Bacciga, and “compromise document”, which everyone will have forgotten about by tomorrow. It seemed like a sort of face-saving act, after improvident declarations, especially by some majority councillors, who perhaps did not read its ethical guidelines well or perhaps were panicked by the media pillory but who certainly cannot believe that 50 homosexuals left alone on the Trimelon islet ( in the middle of Lake Garda) they might come back, after a few years, with their own offspring… Read More

La linea di "Christus Rex-Traditio" and Holy Orders

Image results for 5 antipapi
Of Matthew Castagna
Even if few, sometimes divided or disorganized due to human miseries, perhaps because the Devil strikes where there is the integrity of the Faith and, Therefore, puts its tail among the defects and shortcomings of the children of Light, Catholic Tradition is more alive than ever, because he cannot die, because he is militant and present in the world.
Anachronistic attacks, a bit’ coarse, certainly ridiculous but harsh of the left and the historical enemies of Jesus and His Church, who are concentrating against us and our friends, just these days, demonstrate how the force of Truth, publicly testified (and not relegated to individual consciousness or hidden in speakers) is disruptive and is stirring the bile of atheists, liberals, anticlerical, gendered, Stalin's godchildren.
As I write in my book, even today we must take a stand. You have to know which side you're on, without locking ourselves into the useless intellectualism of those who fear action, in the fear of quiet living, in alienation from reality, in the warmth of your own well-fenced garden, in the ecumenist confusion, in the illusion of the primacy of numbers over unity in Truth, in personalism, in selfishness, in mental closure, in brandishing swords blunted by doctrinal ambiguity or, really, morale. Theosophy and esotericism, of every order and degree are bodies foreign to Tradition, a serious damage to souls, which every fundamentalist has the obligation not to profess or divulge.
Yesterday, like today, we are Integral Roman Apostolic Catholics, that is, entirely Catholic. We are integralists, as she wanted it “flat line” of the “Piano membership” of Mons. Umberto Benigni, albeit updated by changed circumstances. (find the program of “Piano membership” to the site button: “WHO WE ARE”)
We are political heirs of whom, in the 20th century, he stood in defense of tradition (with all due and proper distinctions) favoring the Catholic Church, building banks against materialist communism, all’ateismo, all’technicist americanism, to liberalism, to freemasonry, to occult powers, all’ “white international”, in all its facets, to preconceived or radical anti-fascism, which today are expressed in “Europeanist globalism”. Guareschi, del '68 se ne fece un baffo

Of Marcello Veneziani

Like today (yesterday for those reading, n.d.r.), fifty years ago, in the fateful '68, he went to the other world Giovannino Guareschi. He left the small world that few had described, to reach the big world, the one where that Lord lived who in his House gave advice to one of his fiery dependents on earth, Don Camillo. At least that's what Guareschi says.

He left early, Giovannino, a 60 years, after a troubled life, between concentration camp, prison under fascism and anti-fascism, plus a host of books translated all over the world, of very popular films that represented that fabulous post-war Italy, and adventures in the press, like his impertinent Candide who played a decisive role in the defeat of the social-communist popular front in the 1948 elections.
Giovannino died on 22 July '68 but he had time to write his last Don Camillo dedicated to today's young people. The book was released posthumously and marked the striking contrast between the old communist Peppone (that the anti-communist Guareschi had made sympathetic with his irrepressible humanity), the tough Don Camillo and a young, beardless protester, who was traveling on a motorbike with studded and fringed bags and a black jacket with a skull and the words "Veleno". Which becomes the boy's nickname for Guareschi and also the metaphor of the protest. "The Chinese" also arrive in the town of Brescello and upset the ideological geometries of the Italian-Stalinist Peppone and also displace the religious ones of the parish priest. Guareschi links the protest to the advent of the consumer societyi. For him the antagonism between the two phenomena is only occasional, related, not substantial. Consumerism devours the small ancient world and the old faiths, but he catches Peppone who leaves his bike and rides in a red spider. Consumerism is the habitat of 1968. Read More

The adventure of a poor Christian

Image results for FontamaraOf Roberto PECCHIOLI
The adventure of a poor Christian was Ignazio Silone's last literary work, the author of Fontamara. Exit with great success in the fateful 1968, recounts the convulsive Roman and Neapolitan months of Pietro di Morrone, the monk who ascended to the papacy in 1294 with the name of Celestine V after infighting of a corrupt church, returned after a few months to his hermitage in the Maiella mountains following the abdication that Dante called "the great refusal". Silone intended to represent the opposition between the individual and the Church in his fellow countryman Abruzzo, even more so the irreducible gap between the honest man and power.
Following the paths of disarmed Catholicism has become the daily adventure of poor Christians. We believed that nothing could surprise us more than what comes out of the mouths of members of the hierarchy, but we were wrong. In recent weeks, two significant episodes have caused new disturbance and renewed dismay. The first is the phone call between Gianni Vattimo, marxist philosopher, proclaimed homosexual, standard bearer of postmodern nihilism in the insidious form of so-called weak thought, and the tenant of Santa Marta Jorge Mario Bergoglio. Between the two, whose approach was perhaps favored by the class's common condition as conscripts 1936, the most concrete was the Turin thinker, which, according to the reconstructions, he would have proposed to his successor (or better, to the impostor, n.d.r.) of Pietro to put himself at the head of a sort of international against the excessive power of money. Vast programme, commendable and widely shareable, but certainly distant from the religious mission. Read More

Of Calumny and Judgment

Image results for slander and judgmentThe first, commendable contribution of one of our new militants
Of Luca Sbroffoni
Don Carlo Tommaso Dragone (Requiem…) -in “Explanation of the Catechism of Saint Pius. For catechists”, CLS-, offers us a definition of some bad actions that unfortunately reign supreme in society (media, politics, ecc.) and also in the “traditionalist” microcosm, certainly favored by a reckless use of social media, in which everyone, behind a keyboard, he can undisturbed attack everything and everyone, condemn, judge, without a minimum of fraternal Christian charity.
So let's see what Father Dragone tells us about it: “It is a sin of slander when you attribute to others faults or defects that they do not have, or the ones he has are exaggerated... Slander is a serious fault when he falsely attributes serious faults to others, or even light but which cause serious damage…
Deduction -Father Dragone continues- “means to deduct, take something away from your neighbor's good name, revealing real flaws and shortcomings, without necessity; the deduction is also called murmur. When untrue sins and defects are attributed to others, there is slander; when real sins and defects are attributed to absent people, there is deduction or murmuring; when finally a sin or defect is accused of a person present, there is contumelia. The deduction that unnecessarily spreads knowledge of serious faults, it is a grave sin; if of light sins, it's venial. It is permissible to express the evil of others when there is a just reason, how to avoid damage to third parties… Read More

Our Lady of Mount Carmel, who promises salvation to anyone who becomes "his"

Image results for The Virgin of CarmelOf Cristina Siccardi

Il 16 July a very important Marian feast occurs in the Tradition of the Church: Our Lady of Mount Carmel, one of the oldest and most loved devotions in Christianity, linked to the history and spiritual values of the Order of Friars of the Blessed Virgin Mary of Mount Carmel (Carmelites). The liturgical feast was established to commemorate the apparition of 16 July 1251 a san Simone Stock, at the time prior general of the Carmelite order, during which Our Lady gave him a scapular (from Latin scapula, shoulder) in fabric, revealing to him notable privileges connected to his cult.
In the First Book of Kings of the Old Testament it is said that the prophet Elijah, who gathered a community of men right on Mount Carmel (in Aramaic «garden»), he worked in defense of the purity of faith in God, winning a challenge against the priests of the god Baal. Who, afterwards, Christian monastic communities were established. The Crusaders, in the 11th century, they found some religious people in this place, probably of Maronite rite, who called themselves heirs of the disciples of the prophet Elijah and followed the rule of Saint Basil. In the 1154 the French nobleman Bertoldo retreated to the mountain around this time, arrived in Palestine with his cousin Aimerio from Limoges, patriarch of Antioch, and it was decided to reunite the hermits for cenobitic life. The religious built a small church in the middle of their cells, dedicating it to the Virgin and took the name of Brothers of Santa Maria del Monte Carmelo. Carmel acquired, in this way, its two characterizing elements: the reference to Elijah and the link to the Holy Mary. Read More

Hope, the little girl holding hands…

Of Danilo Quinto
It's not suitable, both for its length, both for his intentions, to those who are in a hurry.

image

"Gentleman, there you are, you are enough for me". This is what he who has faith says in the face of humiliation, to discouragements, to suffering, to injustices, to the defeats he suffers on his earthly journey.
When the man who has faith feels prostrate and experiences a struggle that is unbearable for him - even humbly turning to God to ask Him for help and support – precisely then he exercises faith. In the deepest depths of his life, man's response to this state of prostration can rend and open Heaven. Make it strong against any kind of earthly event that occurs.
Jesus expresses this reality of our life with the image of “narrow door”. Dice (Lu, 13, 24): “Strive to enter through the narrow door, because many, I tell you, they will try to enter it, but they won't succeed". Read More

The perfect Christian society is realized in the monastery

Report BastaBugie editorial team

The cloister is living proof that accepting without reservations to fully live the Gospel in this world is possible (and joyful)

Of Mother Ildegarde Cabitza

(AUTOMATIC READING)
There is a function of monastic life, within the company, which generally escapes superficial observers.
To those who ask us: “What do you do, Oh, closed in your monasteries, to cooperate in the affirmation and extension of the kingdom of Christ?” we usually reply that we give our prayer and our sacrifice to the world, to create a secret yet real compensation for the fearful spiritual deficiencies that dig an ever deeper abyss between man and God.
The answer is true, but it is not complete. Prayer and penance are the elements most easily perceived and understood by outsiders, but we should say with humble and ardent pride: “We are here to pray in the name of our brothers and to offer ourselves every day in union with the sacrifice of Christ, right, but also to give living testimony to Christ, to his doctrine of truth”.
Every monastery must be “as a sign”: the ideal type of the perfect Christian society, where the values of the spirit have absolute precedence over any human interest, where the supreme law is charity, where individual members have, once and forever, believed in Love, and they have it together, with unreserved faith, accepted the risk of living the evangelical word to the full, renouncing the canons of “wisdom of the flesh”.
To whom, even among believers, even among the most sincere practitioners, the Gospel appears in its integral practice, utopia, and its needs irreconcilable with our human possibilities, we testify, living, that no doctrine can, May, more perfectly adhere to the deepest need of the spirit, of human coexistence itself. FROM A HOMILY OF SAINT JOHN VIANNEY, curate of Ars – 1820 –

Image results for Saint John Mary VianneyA VERY USEFUL READING ESPECIALLY FOR THOSE WHO HAVE EXCHANGED GOD FOR THE DO-FOR-THE-HAPPY OR GOOD-MOUNT WHO WANTS TO SEND THE CONCILIAR CHURCH OUT.
Reporting of Father Maria Romualdo Lafitte

Saint John Mary Vianney was a farmer. With much difficulty, he managed to become a priest. Confessava 22 hours a day, with terrible penances and fasts; he read in souls, he performed many miracles, and people came from all over the world to confess to him. He preached to his farmers in a very simple way, but clear and essential.
———————————————–
There are many Christians, my children, who absolutely don't know why they are in the world...”My God, because you brought me into the world?” – “To save you”.
“And why do you want to save me?” – “Because I love you”.
How nice it is to know, love and serve God ! we have nothing else to do in this life. Anything we do outside of this is a waste of time! We must act only for God, placing our works in His hands… Waking up in the morning, it must be said:
“Today I want to work for you, my God! I will accept everything you want to send me as your gift. I offer myself as a sacrifice. However, my God, I can't do anything without you: Help me!”
Oh! How we will regret it, on the verge of death, all the time we will have dedicated to pleasures, to useless conversations, to rest, rather than dedicating it to mortification, to prayer, to good works, to think about our misery, to cry over our sins! Then we would realize that we had done nothing for Heaven. How sad, my children!
Most Christians do nothing but work to satisfy this corpse that will soon rot in the ground, without any regard for the poor soul, who is destined to be happy or unhappy for Eternity. Their lack of spirit and common sense makes one's skin crawl!
You see, my children, we must not forget that we have a soul to save and an Eternity that awaits us. The world, the riches, the pleasures, the honors will pass: Heaven and Hell will never pass away.
So let's be careful! The Saints didn't all start well, but they all finished well. We started badly: let's finish well and we will one day be able to join them in Heaven. Read More
