It was the Chinese leader himself, Xi Jinping,first, to raise the issue before world public opinion, evoking the historical-political concept of the "Thucydides trap". The Greek historian in fact attributed the outbreak of the war between Athens and Sparta (5th century BC) to the emerging Athenian power and the consequent conservative fear of the hegemon Sparta. Xi's China has decided to leave Deng Xiaoping's low profile behind, is rapidly becoming the protagonist of a new “Confucian” global order, hierarchical (with Beijing as the new geopolitical center) and “socialist”; various American analysts, because of this, they consider it the Prussia of our times, intending to move from the level of mere power to hegemonic power. Recent statements by the Russian president, Vladimir Vladimirovic Putin, according to which the international political world is underestimating the concrete risk of a nuclear war are consequential to the all-Russian defensive tactics in the face of British attacks – Color Revolutions and anti-Russian hybrid war – which have been raging since Moscow returned to count on the world stage.
