The fact that for the rest of the year this Republic is constantly mistreated and humiliated by inadequate policies by the patriots themselves is considered a secondary thing. Ultimately you just need to wait for others 12 months until the 25 following April, and for the umpteenth time even the mediocre and cowardly will be able to go back to calling themselves statesmen and lions for one day.
