Italy is Mediterranean, hospital, genuine. E’ a non-model of integration inherent to our history that should not be intellectualized by the new clerics of anti-sovereignism.
A stunt by some kids in the Turin night club that targeted several women including Daisy Osuake, Italian athlete of African origin, it has turned into the tip of the iceberg of an alleged racial hatred that is devouring the country. For now the Carabinieri are excluding the xenophobic motive and yet the political recovery is already underway to hit the yellow-green government, considered an accomplice and instigator of this artificial reconstruction of the facts.
Racism that translates into concrete actions exists, but it is in the heads and deeds of the pischables, which are very few in Italy, and they certainly do not represent the deep soul of our people. Real racism doesn't belong to us. By history, culture, geography. We Italians are Mediterranean, simple people, hospitable, our way, towards all foreigners, that we have never loved nor despised, but respected on the basis of common decency, those unwritten rules of coexistence that characterized a land of passage, an extraordinary crossroads of peoples, clans and tribes. That news story on Isola Capo Rizzuto which saw Calabrian swimmers rescued 56 migrants on the beach, perfectly expresses the spirit described above. Moreover, also at the basis of the electoral growth of the League and the Movement 5 Stars there is no immigration emergency (or even the "ethnic replacement" feared by some) but the fear of further impoverishment of the middle class, the so-called losers of globalization. France is one of the few (ex) powers of the defunct European system to have preserved and perpetuated hegemonic designs on what was its colonial empire, despite the loss of relative power, both in Europe and around the world, and the affirmation of a new international order that is no longer Eurocentric. In the beginning I was Charles de Gaulle wanting to prevent France's decline from a great world power to a regional power in decline and in a peripheral position in the new post-war order. For this purpose, France equipped itself with atomic weapons and attempted to reconquer the former imperial African territories through a policy of economic neocolonialism following the ambitious and visionary plan for French-speaking Africa developed by Jacques Foccart, one of the most important ideologues and strategists of the Gaullist era. Foccart's neo-imperial revival plan for France did not only aim at the reconquest of Africa, but to the expansion up every French-speaking territory in the world. The support provided by the Sdece fits into this context, the secret services for foreign countries, to the Quebec separatist movement, and that controversial “Long live free Quebec!” shouted by De Gaulle to the Montreal crowd in 1967. After the months spent amidst controversy and mockery, was held on the day of the seventieth anniversary of the birth of the State of Israel the official inauguration of the new US embassy in Jerusalem. However, what the American president had naively declared as a day dedicated to the hope of a "pace” was resolved, as was predictable, in a massacre by Israeli soldiers against the Palestinian civilian population. We don't just want to dwell on the almosts 2000 injured and beyond 50 dead killed by Israeli bullets – packed, shipped and sold directly from the same country that believes itself to be the bulwark of the survival of democracy in the world - to underline an obscene and deplorable situation that no European country deigns to condemn with due attention. It's precisely this lack of coherence, not just media, but sincerely political, which leaves those astonished (like all of us) has witnessed a real transformation over the last twenty years diktat by the government of Israel: not only political and economic dominance, but above all social and cultural compared to a population that has seen its native land usurped, forced to live on a strip of land and, not humiliated enough, denigrated and left to their own devices by the great world powers. The European Union and the United States have been preparing the ground for a year and a half. And now here we are: Soon we will have a network of fact-checkers, naturally independent, naturally abiding by a rigorous code of ethics and naturally dedicated to the supreme cause: the fight against fake news or the monster that shakes the establishment's sleep.
All this, actually, as I have been saying for some time, it has only one purpose: legitimize the introduction of censorship, limit the impact and spread of non-mainstream ideas, naturally denying that it is censorship. But so it will be: there is no true democracy when someone claims the right to decide what is true and what is false, and making it inviolable and sacred, what is actually a very dangerous form of strabismus, because it only points to part of the problem, fake news spread by social media, and the real scandal is ignored, which is represented by the manipulation of news created within governments, whose impact is infinitely greater. Any lie about Syria, on Ukraine, on Greece remains rigorously unpunished, as long as it originates within an institution, precisely those institutions that now demand, for our good, to limit the boundaries of freedom of expression.
The European Union yesterday took another fateful step, announcing measures, “preparatory”, waiting for further "fine-tuning", already announced for December. The setting is soft, so as not to alarm the masses and in fact few media talked about it; the outcome, but, it's a given. It cannot be otherwise when it is announced, as did the EU Security Commissioner Julian King who

the creation before the summer of an independent European network of fact-checkers and in September of a European platform on disinformation to help them in their work. Furthermore, Brussels will launch a new call this year for the production and dissemination of quality information on the EU through data-driven news..

Already, but what checks? What data? Those certified by Macron or the US State Department who decided to bomb Syria without evidence, only on the basis of news reported by the media and social media? Those issued by NGOs which, although presenting themselves as non-governmental, are actually financed by Western governments, becoming a disguised but very effective tool in the context of modern asymmetric wars?
King also launched social media measures from Facebook and Twitter, just as Zuckerberg, to the European Parliament, he announced the creation of a small army of twenty thousand guardians to guarantee the fairness of the "2019 European elections" that is, to take away the lifeblood and visibility of sovereignist ideas and movements that are critical of the EU. Therefore to limit freedom of opinion from above, as happens only in authoritarian regimes.
