After the months spent amidst controversy and mockery, was held on the day of the seventieth anniversary of the birth of the State of Israel the official inauguration of the new US embassy in Jerusalem. However, what the American president had naively declared as a day dedicated to the hope of a "pace” was resolved, as was predictable, in a massacre by Israeli soldiers against the Palestinian civilian population. We don't just want to dwell on the almosts 2000 injured and beyond 50 dead killed by Israeli bullets – packed, shipped and sold directly from the same country that believes itself to be the bulwark of the survival of democracy in the world - to underline an obscene and deplorable situation that no European country deigns to condemn with due attention. It's precisely this lack of coherence, not just media, but sincerely political, which leaves those astonished (like all of us) has witnessed a real transformation over the last twenty years diktat by the government of Israel: not only political and economic dominance, but above all social and cultural compared to a population that has seen its native land usurped, forced to live on a strip of land and, not humiliated enough, denigrated and left to their own devices by the great world powers.
What peace can be crowned with the use of weapons and violence? What peace can be gained by abetting murder and censorship? The power, Balzac's Black Beast, that penetrates the bowels of human psychology, it merged with the destiny of money, of the power of built institutions for this e, above all, from the fictitious and non-fictitious support of national and international machines that never stop contradicting each other every time they take a position on the matter to the topic. But this is not just about rationality, of empathy towards children as young as sixteen who were killed; this is the moment to speak out and condemn the behavior of a sovereign state, which imposes its fascist power on a population in continuous rejection. Ma, on the other hand, we were used to it, as a European consumerist population, to no longer think about the facts, but to make us go well those few crumbs that let us follow. To accumulate lies and to let the misfortunes of other countries slide over our skin that we consider far enough away to not be able to scare us. We no longer have a road to travel other than the one paved by the deaths of young men and women who fight for the ideal of freedom and justice - the same one that a country is taking away from them with such vehement imposition.
Remember, At that time, that every death on the constructed and imposed border of Palestine it is also on our conscience: no one will be able to save us from the awareness of history, from the instinctive truth - without signifiers - that each of you is equally involved in this massacre when we passively support these havoc for humanity. We will never be safe, as long as we condemn young souls to death in the space of a newspaper, consoled by your bourgeois soul that pushes us to turn our heads and not look. This is the real threat to peace and this is the only way to truly build it: be involved, oppose those who want to convince us that all this will pass, which is just another moment in the parable of the world. History exists only to be written, and if this is the history of Europe, then we must fight with all our strength to make this end. There cannot be a peace bought by the fire of bullets. Israel, the United States, Europe and its citizens: we are and will always be guilty accomplices and unfortunately condemned by reality for our lack of courage. The continuous lack, precisely, instilled by Western capitalism, corroded by the greed of a people who have stopped dreaming of freedom and equality for all their fellow men to favor the liberation of flows on the deterritoralized field of human consciousness.
